Hello and welcome to our first Ink. Stamp. Share Monthly Blog Hop for 2022. We are sharing projects featuring a suite from either of our catalogues. I’m showcasing products from the Sweet Talk Suite which is on Pages 8-10 of the Mini Catalogue. The paper and Gingham Embossing Folder are some of my favourite products in the suite.
In time for Valentine’s Day, I’ve got a cute and simple gift box to share with you. This is a simple standard box and you can present it with or without the lid.
Dimensions
- Highland Heather Cardstock 23cm x 16.5cm
Score on the long side at 5.5cm, 11cm 16.5cm and 22cm
Score on the short side at 11cm - Blushing Bride Cardstock (lid) 9.5cm x 9.5cm
Score on all 4 sides at 1.9cm
I added the beautiful Sweet Talk Designer Series Paper to decorate the box. One side has hearts in traditional reds and pinks and also pastel hearts and heart shaped lollipops which are so cute.
Some other sheets of the DSP have stripes and water colour washes which can be used for other occasions.
I embossed the White panel with the Gingham Embossing folder and added a watercolour wash in Blushing Bride, stamping a few Real Red dots to coordinate with my cute little red hearts.
I added a mini tag to the front of the box and decorated it so it was ready for gift-giving.
This box can also be used as a table favour for a place setting. Fill it with some chocolates for a sweet treat.
