Hi,
So glad that you are here visiting me in Melbourne. What a fun theme we have this month for the Joy of of Sets blog hop. I live in a coastal village so the beach is a few minutes down the road, however I’m not one for going down there in these cold days. My partner however, will go kayaking no matter what the temperature is because… he doesn’t make cards!
So I’ve gone for a warmer water option which seems more soothing and relaxing.
When you saw the theme did you start singing splish, splash I was taking a bath? I combined the bath and the beach on my projects. I filled the Clear Tiny Treat Boxes with bath pearls in different colours and decorated the boxes to suit with the beautiful shells from the Seaside Notions stamp set.
The shells were stamped in Stazon ink onto Shimmery White cardstock and watercoloured. Then I layered this onto a watercoloured circle. I cut the Label me Fancy punched out cardstock in half so it fit on the box. The water reeds have been die cut from Crurmb Cake cardstock and the blue textured DSP sheet in the In Good Taste pack.
For added detail, the World of Good Designer Series Paper has been stamped before adhering onto the box.
You are currently visiting Rochelle Laird-Smith in Australia. I hope you have enjoyed these projects and would really love your feedback so please leave me a comment.
Next on our hop is lovely Angie McKenzie. Click on the next button to see her beautiful work.

These tags look so amazing Rochelle – so simple but so effective – I love that wash of colour behind the sea shells. Thanks for joining in with the Joy of Sets Blog Hop again.
Your so talented, they just look amazing. That would make a great card picture. Your great in a frame on a wall.
