The Beauty Abounds stamp set and dies are a set i just received a few weeks back. I had been holding back on ordering this but when I saw it was carrying over to the new catalogue I just had to get it. I was so surprised at the amount of dies you get in this set. There are LOTS of dies and LOTS of butterflies. Yes, it does show it in the catalogue but seeing it is so different when you get it. There are 20 dies in this set.
This is the first card I created with it and I kept the layout very simple. My colour palette includes one of the new In-Colours – Seaside Spray which is a lovely soothing colour. It’s a beautiful combination with Mint Macaron.
The Stamparatus is very useful when stamping the Bokeh Dots or any other type of background stamp as it gives you an opportunity to re-stamp if necessary. I stamped 2 pieces of the same size cardstock with the Bokeh Dots.
I used the Stamparatus again to stamp the floral spray directly over one of the pieces of cardstock with the Bokeh Dots. Then I die cut the frame and placed it over the second piece of cardstock with the Bokeh Dots and placed it on the Stamparatus. This was held together with the magnet. The floral spray was stamped over this. This ensures the frame is clearly stamped. Then it was a matter of aligning the 2 pieces so the stamped images matched. This created a cleaner stamped image than trying to stamp over 2 pieces of cardstock.
To keep the frame simple, I have stamped the sentiment in Seaside Spray in the centre. The Faced Gem has been coloured in with a Stampin’ Blend to coordinate with my card. Have you seen the new colours that have been added to our Stampin’ Blends collection? You can shop the entire collection HERE.
