Parisian Blossoms Class – Saturday 7th March

Hi friends,
Welcome to another Stamper’s Showcase Blog Hop and a special welcome to my blog, Stamping Flair. I am a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator in Blind Bight, Australia – a small coastal town in Victoria. So glad to have you stop by and as a group of demonstrators from around the world we are hoping to inspire you with lots of ideas from the amazing Sale-A-Bration catalogue.
If you are new to the whole stamping thing you might wonder what is Sale-A-Bration and why does Rochelle keep going on about it? So glad you asked.
Pretty good right?
So for my project I pulled out the Happy Birthday to You stamp set which is a Sale-A-Bration reward you can earn with a $90 order. I also combined several other Sale-A-Bration items on this project to give you maximum inspiration.
I started off with Granny Apple Green and Bermuda Bay Pigment Sprinkles on Shimmery White cardstock. To maintain a little bit of control over where the colour went, I first added water with an Aqua Painter then sprinkled the powder. Then I added more drops of water, leaving it to dry well between colours. I love the different looks that pigment sprinkles give. This panel was layered on the beautiful Lily Impressions Designer Series Paper which is another Sale-A-Bration offering.
I coloured the flowers with a combination of Stampin’ Blends and die cut them with the Sale-A-Bration coordination die set. These dies are great for cutting the cake image, flowers, the stand and all the leaves I’ve got on this arrangement. I added a piece of faux suede white cardstock which I embossed with the Parisian Flourish embossing folder – just for a little bit of extra texture.
Faux Suede Technique
A strip of Sale-A-Bration Golden Honey Designer Series Paper adds just the right amount of gold to coordinate with the gold embossing.
I hope this inspires you to get busy with all the lovely goodies that Sale-A-Bration has on offer. All products I have used on this card are listed below. Make sure you visit all the blogs for more inspiration and please leave us comments as we’d love to hear from you.

Hi Friends,
I’ve got a Step-it-Up card for you today using 3 free Sale-A-Bration products. Some of you maybe familiar with a series I ran a couple of years ago called Step-it-Up Sunday. Each Sunday I would feature a card made for the beginner crafter, casual crafter and the avid crafter. It’s not a Sunday (I need a weekend … again!) but it’s step-it-up time here at Stamping Flair.
This card features some simple stamping on a Whisper White card base. The Lovely Lily Pad stamp set is a reversible stamp set so the outline of the lily is on one side of the stamp. Flip it over and you have the fill in image.
I love how simple this stamp is to use and hey, you don’t have to worry about lining it up because no matter how hard you try, it’s not going to. That’s just how it’s designed – love it. Then I added some background splattering with the Artisan Textures stamp set in Coastal Cabana. Pretty, simple and quick. Perfect if you are a Beginner Crafter or need a card in a hurry.
The card for the Casual Crafter (someone who crafts occasionally) has been stepped up with a bit of die cutting.
More detail has been added to the card for the Avid Crafter (papercrafting addict). I added the beautiful die cut black border which makes the DSP pop.
I added more depth to the stamped lily by shading with Stamin’ Blends. This colouring medium is beautiful to work with and it’s great quality and very user friendly. You don’t need to be an artist to use them.
Don’t miss out on getting these free items. Any order over $90 earns a Sale-A-Bration reward. Take your pick from a range of products.

Hi,
Welcome to my blog and the Joy of Sets monthly blog hop. No surprises with our theme this month – Love is in the Air. If you are new to my blog, I hope you enjoy my projects and become a regular.
With only a few days left to Valentine’s Day, we hope to inspire you with our projects. So please make sure you stop by all the blogs for loads of ideas to help you create something special for that special someone.
My projects started off with my idea of using the Detailed Hearts Die with watercolouring. Then I chose my colours of Mint Macaron and Blushing Bride. Using an aqua painter, I watercoloured a panel of Shimmery White cardstock.
The card base was embossed with the Pinewood Planks embossing folder. Then I layered a panel of Blushing Bride cardstock die cut with the Stitched Rectangles die. I die cut another piece of Whisper White cardstock in the same size. Then using the Detailed Hearts die, I embossed the white panel.
I stamped and punched the heart from the watercoloured cardstock and cut a Heart doily in half to create a smaller matte around this image.
I had some watercoloured cardstock left so I made a gift tag for this cute bag which is in the Birthday Bonanza suite. One of the Stitched Rectangle dies was used to create the banner shape.
I added some of the die cut hearts from my card to embellish the tag and this gift bag filled with chocolate hearts was all set for giving.
I hope you have enjoyed these projects. If you have any questions or feedback, please leave me a comment. I’d love to hear from you. Next along our hop is Fiona Whitehead. Please click the ‘next’ button to be directed to her blog.

With Valentine’s Day fast approaching, I am loving the From my Heart suite. The heart shaped doilies are a must have for some dainty embellishing. I usually love a doily and these are heart shaped – so sweet.
These doilies come in red and flirty flamingo. Over the next week, I’m going to show you some alternative ways to use these. Dress them up or keep it simple – let’s see how these hearts are going to be great on so many projects long after Valentine’s Day is over.
I’ve used the Beautiful Moments stamp set today. With lovely images of women and children I think this set is perfect for all the wonderful women in our lives and would make lovely Mother’s Day cards.
For the heart on today’s card, I flipped it over to the white side. Then I added some stamped field flowers with Versamark. These were stamped randomly and heat embossed in Copper. Adding Crumb Cake sponging on the heart gives it a vintage look.
On the Crumb Cake card base I added a panel of Designer Series Paper from the Botanical Prints Product Medley. This Medley is such great value. You get a stamp set, dies, DSP, embellishments, ribbon – everything for you to get creative.
As an ADDED BONUS – purchase the Botanical Prints Product Medley and I’ll throw in 10 free PDF tutorials for you to start creating. I have done all the measurements, instructions and photos so you can just get to the fun stuff.
The stamped image has been coloured with Stampin’ Blends and I’ve embellished around it with some vellum leaves die cut from the Animal Friends dies. These are all layered on a piece of Lily Impressions Designer Series Paper – a free offering during Sale-A-Bration.
I am loving the soft feel that this card has with the embossing and sponging on the heart doily. Who would guess that it’s red (or is it pink) underneath? Click on any of the images below to go to my Online Shop. There’s lots of fun products that you can get free with any purchase over $90.
