Hi and welcome to Stamping Flair and the monthly Kre8tors Blog Hop. I’m a little bit sad because it’s the last time we’ll be hopping together for the time being. Thank you to Melissa Tennison who has worked so hard putting this blog hop together each month. I’ve had so much fun being a part of it.
However, we still have all the fun of this month. So make sure you check out all the blogs for lots of inspiration. Our theme is anniversaries. Usually I would create a floral, feminine card but this time I created more with my partner in mind. So my card took on a more masculine feel.
I started by sponging Granny Apple Green and Misty Moonlight along the bottom of the Whisper White cardstock panel. Then I embossed it with the Tasteful Textile embossing folder. Taking my Versamark ink pad, I roughly ran it down the ends of the cardstock and poured the Gold Embossing Powder over it. I brushed off any excess to achieve a streaky look then heat embossed it.
The sentiment is the die from the Love You More set and it actually says ‘Love you more than’. I just used the words ‘ Love you’ which I die cut from the Rainbow Glimmer Paper.
I hope you have been inspired by my creation. Please leave me a comment as I would love to hear from you. Next on our hop is Annette Elias. Click on the Next button to see her lovely project.

Hi,
Welcome to Stamping Flair on this Saturday morning. It’s a weekend like no other here in Melbourne, where we are in lock down but us crafters need not fear boredom. We have supplies and unfinished projects to last a lifetime! I hope you are all keeping well and in good spirits. You are in the right place to get you into creative mode.
Today I’m hopping with my friends from the Stamp ‘N Hop team and we are showcasing our favourite bundle. Now this one was a tough choice as there are so many beautiful bundles available in the Annual Catalogue as well as the Mini Holiday Catalogue.
I chose the Forever Fern bundle for it’s versatility to offer quick and simple cards which look really beautiful. This bundle is perfect for the beginner stamper as it offers the capacity to step-up your projects as you become more comfortable with stamping. For the Advanced crafter, the coordinating dies offer you additional leaves and elements to add more pizzazz to your projects.
I added the beautiful Gold Laser cut paper which is part of the Forever Greenery Suite. A poppy from the Painted Poppies stamp set, coloured in Flirty Flamingo, adds a soft contrast to the shades of green on this card. Die cut leaves in Sahara Sand and Soft Sea Foam coordinate with that beautiful Designer Series Paper.
Join me this afternoon on my Facebook Live where I’ll show you how to create this card and give you some fun tips and techniques. All the products I have used on this card are listed at the bottom of this post. Thank you for visiting me today. I hope you have enjoyed my project and I would love for you to leave me a comment.
Follow the hop right through for lots of fun ideas for use with a variety of bundles. Next on our hop is Caroline Peck’s. Click on the Next button to go through to her blog and see her lovely project.

Hi,
Welcome to my blog and the Joy of Sets monthly blog hop. No surprises with our theme this month – Love is in the Air. If you are new to my blog, I hope you enjoy my projects and become a regular.
With only a few days left to Valentine’s Day, we hope to inspire you with our projects. So please make sure you stop by all the blogs for loads of ideas to help you create something special for that special someone.
My projects started off with my idea of using the Detailed Hearts Die with watercolouring. Then I chose my colours of Mint Macaron and Blushing Bride. Using an aqua painter, I watercoloured a panel of Shimmery White cardstock.
The card base was embossed with the Pinewood Planks embossing folder. Then I layered a panel of Blushing Bride cardstock die cut with the Stitched Rectangles die. I die cut another piece of Whisper White cardstock in the same size. Then using the Detailed Hearts die, I embossed the white panel.
I stamped and punched the heart from the watercoloured cardstock and cut a Heart doily in half to create a smaller matte around this image.
I had some watercoloured cardstock left so I made a gift tag for this cute bag which is in the Birthday Bonanza suite. One of the Stitched Rectangle dies was used to create the banner shape.
I added some of the die cut hearts from my card to embellish the tag and this gift bag filled with chocolate hearts was all set for giving.
I hope you have enjoyed these projects. If you have any questions or feedback, please leave me a comment. I’d love to hear from you. Next along our hop is Fiona Whitehead. Please click the ‘next’ button to be directed to her blog.

My projects continue today with the Everything is Rosy Product Medley. I can’t seem to stop creating with this beautiful range of products which I’m sure, was made for me. If you know anything about me, I love the colour pink and you will find my home decorated with shades of pink from cushions to ornaments and flowers – I love it.
I’ve got a couple of coordinating projects to show you today. The card and mini pizza box have been decorated with the same paper and similar arrangement of flowers. I think this would make a lovely wedding card as you could put money or a gift card in the box.
For the card base and pizza box I chose the softer pink of Blushing Bride to layer my beautiful Rose Gold paper on.
Congratulations Card
I started the card off by stamping a border on the side of the card with some leaves in Blushing Bride. Tone on Tone stamping adds just the right amount of background without taking over the design. Then I added the Rose Gold detailed paper with Night of Navy striped coordinating paper acting as a border.
The flowers have been stamped in a combination of Blushing Bride and Melon Mambo. Don’t these look lovely together?
Rose Gold shimmer paint was added to the centre of the flowers. I did this by dipping a stylus into the lid of the shimmer paint and then adding dots on the flowers. For the larger flowers, I dragged these dots outwards creating a shimmery centre. You can see the shimmer in the photo below.
Rose Gold foil was used for the fine leaves that have been added to the floral spray. These cut out really easily and the shiny leaves work really well with the little Rose Gold flowers on the Designer Paper. The sentiment was stamped on one of the die cuts from the pre-cut sheets which come in this Medley.
Mini Pizza Box
The gift box is very quick to make with our cute mini pizza boxes. I layered the Designer Paper on top of the Blushing Bride cardstock. then added a coordinating paper on the 4 sides. The flower has been arranged with the leaves as I did for the card to make this a lovely coordinated gift set.
The Everything is Rosy Product Medley is available for a limited time until the end of May or while stocks last. You can see how easy it is to create beautiful projects with these products. Sale-A-Bration maybe over but we are still celebrating with the Celebration Time stamps and dies. I CASEd the gift from page 81 of the Annual Catalogue to make a card. The dies are tags but I just snipped the ribbon insert off to make it a topper for a card. The Basic Card has 3 die cuts layered together for the gifts. The Myths & Magic glimmer paper adds a bit of sparkle. The sentiment has been fussy cut.
For the next level I added a strip of Whisper White with some stamped streamers in Pink Pirouette and Bermuda Bay. 2 strips of glimmer paper border the panel. I have also backed the gifts with an additional layer of Pink Pirouette cardstock which has been coloured in with the same Stampin’ Write marker. This gave it a darker shade. I traced around it and cut around this piece to fit behind the gifts.
My final step-up is a shaker card. To create this, the first step is to make your ‘window’. Attach a piece of Window sheet to the back of the piece which is going to form your shaker. In this case I used liquid glue as the die cut was so narrow. I just had to be careful not to get any glue residue on the acetate. If the die cut is larger, my preference is Tear & Tape adhesive.
Next you need to stick foam strips all along the edge of the acetate, ensuring that there are no gaps otherwise all the glitter bits will shake right out of it! The foam strips do curve, but again, due to the narrow width of the edge I cut it into sections and had them right next to the other. DON’T TAKE THE TOP STRIP OFF THE ADHESIVE! I speak from experience. It gets messy.
Next, add all your glitter and sequins and whatever else you like. Why keep the backing strip on at this stage? If you take your backing strip off the sticky strip, the sequins and lovely things start getting stuck on your foam strip. Apart from driving you nuts, you have to make sure it’s all clear before closing your window and by this time you may lose some of your glitter and your marbles!
Once you are satisfied that you have sufficient sequins in your window (don’t overfill as it does need to shake), then take the backing of your foam strip and attach your backing cardstock. Press firmly to make sure it’s well sealed.
