Hello and welcome to Stamping Flair in Melbourne where we have had a beautiful sunny day. We are experience some lovely spring weather right now. For our Around the World on Wednesday blog hop this month we are sharing projects around changing seasons, whether it is nature inspired or centred around events in our lives.
Our Around the World on Wednesday Design Team is made of up a very beautiful, talented group of ladies who love to create with Stampin’ Up! products. Every 2nd Wednesday of the month we join together to bring you creative inspiration from our corner of the world.
I have been immersed in the Harvest Meadow suite this week and can’t stop creating with it. It is so beautiful.
Inspired by this suite and also by the challenge at Sunday Stamps SSC265, I have picked the colours of Autumn for my card today. My chosen colour palette is Bumblebee, Pumpkin Pie, Cinnamon Cider, Soft Succulent and Very Vanilla.
I watercoloured the flowers with a combination of colours using
Water Painters. The sprigs were die cut from Very Vanilla Cardstock and sponged with Cinnamon Cider and Pumpkin Pie inks.
On the card base, I added a panel of cardstock which was embossed with the Timeworn Embossing Folder. This folder gives such a beautiful texture and if you love that vintage look, you need this. (just saying!!)
I followed a video by our Artisan Design Team member, Tammy Wilson, to create the bow. I’ve still got some practicing to do but oh, it it is lots of fun to make. Click here to view the bow making video.
I am creating this card on my Facebook Live tonight so for full instructions and tips please make sure you check that out.
Thank you for taking the time to check out my creation. So you don’t miss out on any of my projects, updates and promotions please subscribe to my blog via the link on the top right.

Welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop for October. Our theme this month is Autumn or Halloween. I have chosen the beautiful Gilded Autumn Specialty DSP to showcase autumn today.
My card started off with my concept of wanting to use the curtain fold on my card. Over this past week, I’ve been showcasing a series called Fun Ways with Designer Series Paper on my blog. Throughout this series, I’ve been sharing ideas and tips for making the most of your DSP.
The curtain fold is great because it shows both sides of our beautiful Designer Series Paper. Particularly with specialty paper such as this, it’s a shame not to be able to see both sides.
I folded the paper at 3cm, 4.5cm, 7.5cm, 9cm, 12cm and so on continuing on a length of DSP which was 26cm long. This gave me sufficient to go across my cardstock. I made a mark with a pencil at 4.5cm from the top on the right side and 2.5cm from the bottom left. Then I cut my paper across at these 2 points. Mountain and valley fold your score lines to form the curtain fold.
I added a pumpkin from the Harvest Hellos which I coloured with Stampin’ Blends. This stamp set also has an apple in the set which coordinates with the matching Apple Builder punch. A few extra leaves were added, including some Brushed Metallic leaves.
This beautiful paper is a must have as it’s copper and gold foil accents adds a richness which enhances the autumn colours of this suite.

Hi Friends,
Thanks for stopping by to visit my blog today. I am a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator in Australia and we are currently right in the middle of Spring and already experiencing some very warm days. Our theme for the Stampers Showcase Blog Hop this month is Fall or Autumn for us Aussies. So my mind had to shift back to the cooler days of autumn.
I love the colours of autumn and I chose the Come to Gather Designer Series Paper to create this card. I have used the Holiday Haul host stamp set for my fun image with the truck and autumn leaves.
Have you had a look at this stamp set? It’s on Page 61 of the Holiday catalogue and has a lot of fun images. You can mix and match several stamps to create various images.
I stamped the truck in Old Olive and the leaves in Mango Melody. To make the bow I used 2 strands of twine and tied a regular bow then I attached it to my sentiment, adding the cork flower.

Hello stampers,
So happy that you are able to stop by my blog today. You may be stopping by from Su’s blog and would have seen her amazing work. Be sure to stop by all our participants who are listed at the bottom of this post to see their lovely work.
I’m a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator in the coastal town of Blind Bight in the outer suburbs of Victoria in Australia. We are a small community with a beach within walking distance and some lovely walking tracks surrounded by bush.
Our theme for this hop is Fall or as it’s known in Australia – Autumn. Although we are in Spring and allergy season here at the moment, I love the colours of the Autumn leaves and nature paints a lovely picture during this season.
I really wanted to capture the colours of the Autumn leaves and chose the beautiful Peaceful Place stamp set to work with. I stamped the image in Tuxedo Black using the Stamparatus. Then I inked up the pine trees in Garden Green and restamped. I reinked sections of the pine tree in Shaded Spruce and stamped again. The Stamparatus makes this technique so easy to do.
Tip: First stamp and colour the image and then die cut the oval
I then added colour to the image using sponge daubers and several inks. This is a fun technique and simple to achieve. The die cut image has been mounted with Dimensionals onto a piece of Pressed Petals Designer Series Paper. I love the wood texture and it reflects the elements of nature that are depicted in this image.
The autumn leaves from the Rooted in Nature stamp set have been stamped in Blackberry Bliss. These were then die cut and sponged with Pumpkin Pie, Granny Apple Green and Mango Melody.
The sentiment is stamped onto a piece of See a Silhouette Designer Series Paper and die cut with a label from Lakeside Dies. I first die cut the sentiment and then reinserted it into the die cutting machine to create a shorter label to fit my sentiment.
