Hello friends, Welcome to our CASEing the Catty Challenge and this week we are CASEing this fun sketch which is on Page 25 of the Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue.
I’ve created a Christmas card using the Golden Greenery bundle which is part of our Online Exclusives collection.
The suite this bundle is part of includes some beautiful Designer Series Paper which is in tones of green and I wanted to give this card a slightly softer look by changing the colours. Of course, I went with pink!
I created 2 square frames using the Stylish Shapes dies and added a piece of Graceful Greenery Vellum behind it. I love how the Vellum adds that softness while still being able to see the Bright and Beautiful Designer Series Paper behind it. From 6th – 31st August you can get this paper and several others on sale at 15% discount so make sure to hop back and check that out.
The outline of the bells were stamped in Petunia Pop, stamped off and the main image was stamped in Pretty in Pink, stamped off. I added detail onto the bells with Watercolour Pencils. I die cut some leaves from Basic White Cardstock and blended a range of colours to add some shading to them, trimming them down so they fit around they bells.
A trio of white flowers, coloured with Bubble Bath and Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends, layered together, created the flower which is on top of a bow which was also made from Bright & Beautiful DSP.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this alternate take with this bundle. Let me know what you think of it by leaving me a comment. I love hearing from you.

Hello friends, Hope your week is going well and even better now that we are halfway through the week. For Colour Palette #19 I’ve got a pretty floral card for you using the Irrisistible Blooms Bundle.
I’ve used the sketch at Just Add Ink Challenges #662 as the base for my card. For the centre panel I’ve used the Bright & Beautiful Designer Sereies Paper and on top of this I added some flowers and leaves. Two strips of Basic White Cardstock embossed with the Cane Weave Embossing Folder were added for the side panels.
The flowers were stamped in Blackberry Bliss ink and then coloured in with Blackberry Bliss and Fresh Freesia Stampin’ Blends. I stamped the leaves in Old Olive ink and coloured them in with Old Olive Stampin’ Blends and an Old Olive Watercolour Pencil.
I added a border along the bottom of the sentiment, which was fussy cut from Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Paper. The black contrasts and stands out against the purple tones of the flowers.

For my card using Colour Palette #14 I’ve used the Share a Milkshake stamps and coordinating dies. I wanted to create a soft watercolour background for my summery card. Perhaps I’m trying to feel warm right in the middle of some chilly days here in Melbourne!
Watercolouring is one of my favourite techniques as I love the unpredictability of it and there really is nothing that can go wrong. It looks amazing whatever course the water takes.
Flirty Flamingo ink was blended over the Fluid 100 Cardstock using a Blending Brush. I spritzed it with water which created a stipple effect. Taking a Water Painter, I added some more ink and water to create more movement on the panel.
The Share a Milkshake stamp set images are designed for two-step stamping and I used Lemon Lolly stamped off to create the lighter colour on the glass. The ice cream was stamped in Flirty Flamingo stamped off.
Until 30th June you can get the Bright & Beautiful Designer Series Paper along with a range of others on sale at 15% off . Shop our Designer Series Paper sale HERE.
I used the smallest hearts and blended Gorgeous Grape ink over it. Then each one was stamped with the small ice cream stamp to create the little dots for some texture. A fussy cut, heat embossed sentiment on Basic Black Cardstock adds a nice contrast against the softer colours. Oh and I’ve snuck in Pumpkin Pie with some sprinkle embellishments coloured with the Dark Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blend.
