The creeator of this challenge – Martin Stone from Martin’s Mayhem, made me laugh with this challenge. As he has subsequently admitted, Feastive was meant to be Festive but due a slight typo, this changed the entire meaning of the challenge. However, I had already created a card along the ‘festive’ line and then had to reconfigure to go ‘feastive’!
I didn’t have many Christmas food stamp sets but the Sweet Candy Canes from last year’s Christmas was perfect. I used one of the candy canes to create a border along the bottom of the card.
Right now the Sweet Candy Canes stamp set and Candy Canes Dies are available on the Clearance Rack.
Sweet Candy Canes stamp set #159560 $27.26 (was $39)
To create the leaves I blended a panel of White Cardstock with Parakeet Party, Garden Green and Shaded Spruce, Then I spritzed it with water and die cut several holly leaves from it. A large sentiment from the Joy to You stamp set completes this simple design.

For Day 6 of the 30 Day Christmas Cardmaking Challenge I’ve used one of my all time favourite stamp sets – Christmas in the Making. This particular image came straight to my mind as soon as I saw the theme of Topping the Tree.
This lady reminds me of my mum – she used to wear lovely skirts and blouses with the collared neck. The short wavy hair is just how she wore it too. It’s lovely to bring back memories as I stamp.
Although there’s no tree on the image, I loved the unsaid anticipation which is depicted in this image of her about to decorate the tree.
I paper pieced the skirt with some Garden Walk Designer Series Paper to create a pretty floral skirt. To fulfil the ‘tree’ element of our challenge, a strip of Winter Meadow DSP was added. The beautiful softness in the Lost Lagoon trees brings out the focal image.
Although the main stamp set is retired, you could use this same layout with any of our other beautiful products and

Today’s sketch for the #30DayChristmasCardmakingChallenge had me in a bit of a quandary. I wasn’t quite sure what 3 elements I was going to use for the entire design to be cohesive. In keeping with using retired sets for Nostalgic November I chose the Signs of Santa stamp set.
The Santa was coloured in Bubble Bath to create the vintage look I wanted on this card. You could use our St. Nicholas bundle #163859 to create a similar vintage Santa.
I added layers of stamping to create a collage style background. Our retired Layering Circles dies were used for the centre. These can be substituted with the Deckled Circle dies #162286.
I ran the Nested Essentials die twice around the sentiment to create a smaller label to fit the sentiment well and to work in with the sketch. All current products used have been listed at the bottom of this post. If you live in Australia you can shop online or contact me to place an order.
Have a wonderful week ahead.

For Day 4 of the 30 Day Christmas Cardmaking Challenge we have a colour palette inspiration using Night of Navy, Pool Party and Lemon Lolly.
I created a muted background by blending all 3 colours. Then I added the large rosette from the retired Bring on the Presents stamp set. Guess what? I hadn’t used the stamps or dies until this card. I was pretty excited about these die cut strips which form the ribbon across. So many ways these could be used, even as accent pieces. I coloured the image with Pool Party and Night of Navy Stampin’ Blends and love this 3D bow.
I used the Waves of Inspiration stamp set to create some movement in the background with Gold embossing. There was a white border around the tag which I coloured in with the Night of Navy Stampin’ Blend to create a defined border and make the sentiment stand out.
I hope you have enjoyed this project and give this colour palette a try.

Happy Friday! Bring on the weekend and perhaps some of you will be enjoying a long weekend. It’s Day 3 of the 30 Day Christmas Cardmaking Challenge and we are Rockin’ Around.
Today was lots of fun to create using the rocking horse from the retired Little Cuties stamp set. I had completely forgotten about this set and my goodness, it’s got a bunch of cute images. I’ve cute a rockin’ horse! I coloured the horse with a range of Stampin’ Blends and really like the natural tones against the rich Shaded Spruce background.
To bring the rhythm to the rockin’ I added some music score from the Joyful Specialty Designer Series Paper. The sentiment is from another retired stamp set, Seasonal Chums. You can substitute the rocking horse with our new Rocking Horse bundle #162041 which even die cuts it for you.
A beautiful gold ribbon and some Blooming Pearls add a touch of glam to this vintage card.
A list of available products are below. Your orders are appreciated as it helps me continue to do what I love.
Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
