Today’s Crafty Collaborations Monochromatic Insta Hop features Soft Sea Foam. This green is one of my favourite colours and is from our Subtles Collection. Resisting the obvious choice of going leaves, I went with creating my own Christmas gifts for this challenge.
Using the Reindeer Dies and Merriest Trees dies, I die cut the presents and bows from Designer Series Paper and Specialty Paper.
I created 2 panels from embossed Cardstock to form my sketch and layered the gifts on top. The varying textures of White Cardstock create an elegant combination with the ‘wrapped’ presents.
The sentiment was stamped in Basic Gray as I liked the softer look of this instead of Black and felt it worked nicely with the Soft Sea Foam. A few Drusy embellishments complete this monochromatic card.

Hi friends, Thanks for stopping by Stamping Flair this weekend as I share with you my creation for the Crafty Collaborations Monochromatic Insta Hop. I’ve used the vintage Sentimental Christmas Designer Series Paper in abundance on my card today as we feature Shaded Spruce.
The back panel of white was embossed with the Painted Trees embossing folder. I just love the beautiful texture this folder provides. On top of this I added 2 panels of the striped Designer Series Paper. For this sketch, I had the bottom strip of paper wider than the top, adding a thin strip of Basic Beige as a border agains it.
To further make the bottom panel a little different, I also added a strip of White Cardstock die cut using the Everyday Details dies. This particular die is designed to cut into the cardstock and doesn’t actually have an outer border. Die cutting strips of Cardstock with it will give you a lovely detailed panel.
I fussy cut the trees from the Designer Series Paper and couldn’t resist the deer which were on another sheet, so they got to rest amongst the trees.
The sentiment was stamped on die cut label from the Nested Essentials dies which I shortened by running through the die cutting machine a second time. Snowflakes dotted with gems were added to complete the scene.
Please consider adding the Sentimental Christmas Designer Series Paper to your next order. For every purchase of this paper, Stampin’ Up! will donate $4.25 towards Children’s Literacy.
Welcome to the weekend friends, We’re kicking off our Saturday with Crafty Collaborations Monochromatic Insta Hop challenge. This week we are featuring Cajun Craze which is part of our Regals collection. I love this deep, rich colour and used it in a variety of ways on my card today using the Iconic Imagery bundle.
I started with 6 pieces of the Iconic Celebrations Designer Series Paper. These were slightly longer on one side and I arranged them evenly on an Early Espresso matte layer.
HOW TO CREATE CENTRE LABEL
Cut 1cm strips of Iconic Celebrations DSP
Adhere to Basic White Cardstock
Die cut with the label die
Emboss with Painted Texture Embossing Folder
Using a Blending Brush, go over the raised areas of the image with Early Espresso ink
Go around the outer edges of the die cut using a Blending Brush with Early Espresso and Crumb Cake ink
Die cut a label from Crumb Cake Cardstock
Cut this in half and adhere under the striped label to form a matte
I set out to use a Cajun Craze card base for my card base but found the colour a bit too deep for the look I was going for. Instead of changing my design, I decided to get creative with ink blending. By blending Petal Pink Cardstock with Cajun Craze ink, I achieved a lighter shade of Cajun Craze that perfectly complemented my card.
Once I had done this I needed another element that blended in with this tone so I die cut the large leaf from Petal Pink Cardstock and blended with Cajun Craze and Early Espresso ink. Around this I added several other stamped and die cut autumn leaves.
I cut apart the gold ribbon and added strands under the heat embossed sentiment to add a striking contrast against all the rich Cajun Craze elements.
I hopey you have enjoyed this creation and you can find a fully supply list at the bottom of this post. If you live in Australia, you can shop supplies in my Online Store or by getting in touch with me.

I’m a bit of a Basic Gray fan as I tend to use it when I want a softer alternate to Black. For today’s Crafty Collaborations Insta Hop I went with a CAS card – Clean and Simple and used the Frosted Forest bundle to create it.
I die cut 3 rectangles from the Deckled Rectangles dies to create equal panels across the front. These were embossed with the Forever Plaid Embossing Folder – a new product available in our September-December Mini Catalogue. This is one of my must-haves as it’s so versatile. I added it to a Basic Gray panel.
Then I die cut the trees from the Frosted Forest dies. This bundle has a stamp and die set and layering stencils to create beautifully shaded trees, although I used an auxiliary die for this card.
I blended Basic Gray and Tuxedo Black on the image to create an ombre colouring. I added some splatters with a Basic Black Stampin’ Blend and as the the splatters fell, it almost looked like leaves falling off the tree.
I’ve heat embossed a sentiment from the Thoughtful Wishes stamp set and added some silver metallic gems to complete this simple and elegant card.

Welcome to this week’s Monochromatic challenge with the Crafty Collaborations team. We are highlighting the rich and regal, Cherry Cobbler. I was leaning towards a Christmas card as this is a gorgeous festive colour, however I chose the Simply Zinnia bundle instead.
I stamped the Zinnia image twice, once in Tuxedo Black and once in Cherry Cobbler. The flowers were coloured in Cherry Cobbler and Real Red Watercolour Pencils and the leaves were shaded in with the Basic Gray Watercolour Pencil.
I fussy cut the around the flowers and mounted them on top of the complete image.
On this card I’ve also added some of the products from our Regal Winter suite from the September – December Mini Catalogue. The beautiful Designer Series Paper and the Specialty Paper in Cherry Cobbler were just perfect for this week’s challenge.
The Drusy Adhesive Backed Embellishments are so sparkly and I love how they add a touch of elegance to this card.
