Hi crafty friends,
Welcome to Stamping Flair and thank you for stopping by to see what I have created for the Stampin’ Dreams Valentine’s Day inspired blog hop. There’s still time for some last minute creating and we are here to inspire you.

I’ve got a little treat bag for you today and this is definitely perfect for a last minute make as it is very quick to create. Stampin’ Up! have some gorgeous gift packaging and these Copper Dotted Treat Bags are simple and elegant.

I stamped the lacy heart in Real Red and then layered it on a heart punched out of the Designer Series Paper and then set it against one of those beautiful doilies. At $9.50 for 40 doilies these are great value as there is so much you can do with them.
The wood grain paper is from the Pressed Petals Specialty DSP. If it has wood, I love it and I find it so versatile. Add a few chocolates in the cute cellophane bags for some added prettiness and you’ve got a lovely little treat bag.

All products I have used on this project are listed below. I hope you have enjoyed my Valentine’s Day creation and please stop back again soon. Make sure you visit all the other participants in the blog hop to see their lovely work.

Hi,
Welcome to my blog and the Joy of Sets monthly blog hop. No surprises with our theme this month – Love is in the Air. If you are new to my blog, I hope you enjoy my projects and become a regular.

With only a few days left to Valentine’s Day, we hope to inspire you with our projects. So please make sure you stop by all the blogs for loads of ideas to help you create something special for that special someone.
My projects started off with my idea of using the Detailed Hearts Die with watercolouring. Then I chose my colours of Mint Macaron and Blushing Bride. Using an aqua painter, I watercoloured a panel of Shimmery White cardstock.

The card base was embossed with the Pinewood Planks embossing folder. Then I layered a panel of Blushing Bride cardstock die cut with the Stitched Rectangles die. I die cut another piece of Whisper White cardstock in the same size. Then using the Detailed Hearts die, I embossed the white panel.
I stamped and punched the heart from the watercoloured cardstock and cut a Heart doily in half to create a smaller matte around this image.

I had some watercoloured cardstock left so I made a gift tag for this cute bag which is in the Birthday Bonanza suite. One of the Stitched Rectangle dies was used to create the banner shape.
I added some of the die cut hearts from my card to embellish the tag and this gift bag filled with chocolate hearts was all set for giving.

I hope you have enjoyed these projects. If you have any questions or feedback, please leave me a comment. I’d love to hear from you. Next along our hop is Fiona Whitehead. Please click the ‘next’ button to be directed to her blog.

Creating ‘love’ themed projects are made easy with the From My Heart suite. You can find find all the beautiful products from Pages 8-10 in the Mini Catalogue. In traditional Valentine’s day colours, with touches of foil on the Designer Series Paper, this suite is quite rich in colour.

The coordinating heart punches align with some of the images on the Designer Series Paper and I used one of these on my card today to layer on one of those cute doilies.
I am not so much into giving really bright red cards for Valentine’s day (because I like to be different!) and by adding Crumb Cake into the colour palette it just mutes the whole colour scheme. We still have Valentine’s Day colours going on but with more natural tones incorporated.
