Ho Ho Hope left our theme quite broad for Day 13 of the #30DayChristmasCardMakingChallenge. I chose Hope for my focus.
I used the Peace to You stamp set to remind us of the hope and meaning of Christmas. A classic and simple colour palette of Black, White and Silver was used.
To achieve a crisp image for the nativity scene, I used a Stamparatus which enabled me to re-stamp the image and get a nice darker black image. I added a piece of folded Silver Mesh behind the sentiment to bring some softness to the card.

It’s a slimine sketch for Day 20 of my Sketchtember Challenge and I’m using the beautiful Peace to You stamp set. for the first time. The images and sentiments in this stamp set capture the true meaning of Christmas.
The image of the church was heat embossed in white then I blended Balmy Blue, Tahitian Tide and Starry Sky over it.. Some Snowfall Accents Puff Paint created a layer of snow at the bottom.
HOW TO USE PUFF PAINT
Apply the Puff Paint over the desired area
Heat emboss until it puffs up
I picked the pretty Snowflake Irridescent Vellum for my background which adds just the right amount of sparkle. Then I blended the same 3 inks over the mask for an additional layer which created a nice contrast to the soft vellum.
What about those Sprig Trinkets? Aren’t they just stunning? I actually just received them in my last order and I’m loving them!
I hope you enjoy creating with this sketch and please share what you create with #sketchtemberchallenge
