Happy Sunday Friends, Hope you are enjoying a relaxing weekend. I’ve been clearing out my retired product and making space on my shelves for all the new goodies from the brand new catalogue. I’ve got a few boxes to put away – some of these I just won’t let go because they are staples in my craft room. Have you checked out the Last Chance sale yet?
There’s nothing better than creating for an occasion and an occasion can be anything you make it. It’s Find a Rainbow Day today so I thought I’d make a card – why not right? Rainbows make us happy. When Cassidy and I go in the car, we love seeing a rainbow and it just gives us joy. And then when you see a double rainbow – well – that’s extra happiness!
This is a simple card with the focus being on the cute rainbow flowers.
These were die cut from the Rainbow Glimmer paper using the Pierced Blooms Dies. This stamp set and bundle have been massively discounted and you can still get it. The Rainbow Glimmer Paper unfortunately is sold out. I have added a link for the Ombre Glimmer Paper which you could substitute this with and get a similar look.

Hello and welcome to our Kre8tors Blog Hop this month. I am a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator in Melbourne, Australia. We have just finished Easter, however where you are, you still may be celebrating this wonderful occasion. I hope you have a lovely day.
Our theme this month is Spring. In Melbourne we are getting into chilly Autumn right now so I drew on some bright and cheery colours as we need all the cheering up we can get at the moment. The Best Dressed Designer Series Paper has some fun colour choices as well as some pretty, fahion-inspired patterns.
Both these cards use the same measurements and a very simple layout. I used the flowers from the Easter Promise stamp set to create my focal image for the Lovely Lipstick card. I have used Stampin’ Blends to colour it in. If you haven’t tried Stampin’ Blends, I encourage you to give it a try. This is such a simple colouring tool to use and blending is very easy. A ribbon bow, sentiment and a quick card completed.
I created the same card with different paper and the Dressed to Impress stamp set and it just changes the look. So how do high heel shoes and handbags tie in with the Spring theme? I thought of the Spring racing carnival in Melbourne where women love to dress up so that was my inspiration for this card. The sentiment is from the Label me Bold stamp set. I’ve been using this set increasingly as it has sentiments to suit different occasions and some nice background-style images.
Thank you for checking out my cards today. I hope you give these quick make cards a try and look forward to seeing you back soon. Click on the Next button to see what Annette Ball has in store for you.

I’ve got a very quick card for you today which you can make in minutes using the Pleased as Punch Designer Series Paper.
This 12″X12″ DSP coordinates with the following punches.
- Heart Punch pack
- Tulip Builder Punch
- Umbrella Builder Punch
- Small Blooms Punch
It’s available until 31st March or while stocks last so you’ll want to get in quick for this pretty pack of paper.
Simply punch out 3 hearts from the DSP using the plain heart from the Heart Punch pack and adhere them to the bottom of your Whisper White layer. Attach a piece of Bermuda Bay ribbon across the top using Tear n’ Tape. Then wrap the Linen Thread 3 times around this layer. I tied the bow separately and attached it with a glue dot.
The sentiment was stamped in Shimmer Black Embossing Powder on Coastal Cabana cardstock. I love how this shines and the black accents the sentiment.
I’ll be sharing a printable ideas sheet in my next newsletter for using this Designer Series Paper. Sign up below to subscribe and get a fun newsletter sent to you with lots of inspiration.

Dec 2, 2019 | Blog Hops, Christmas |
Hi,
Welcome to my blog today. I really appreciate you taking time out of your day to see what I have created. If it’s your first time here, I am a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator in the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Australia. I love what I do and am so blessed to be able to share my creativity with so many lovely people and today I get to share some Christmas themed fun with YOU!
I’m hopping with other talented crafters from around the world and we are focused on Christmas – with 23 days to go until the big day we hope to inspire you with projects that will help you get ready for it.
When I’m stuck for time, I look for quick and easy cards that I can reproduce. It seems that no matter how early I start, each year, I’m still madly making cards in December. I made a whole batch of these and they are so easy and quick to complete.
Start of by embossing the front of your Night of Navy card base. Mount the Stitched Rectangle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I die cut the deer from the Detailed Deer dies from the Wrapped in Plaid Designer Series Paper. I used different sheets and was able to get 5 deer out of 1 sheet of 6″x6″ paper. These dies coordinate with the Dashing Deer stamp set.
The sentiments were all stamped in Shaded Spruce (to make life easy). I created several small banners and embossed them in one run through the die cutting machine. Note: When pushed for time and creating multiples, use embossing folders that don’t have horizontal or vertical patterns so if you put your paper in crooked it’s not going to matter. I did tell you I was in a rush!
I hope you have been inspired by my card and despite the busyness of the season you get to create a handmade card to share with someone. If you give this card a try or have any comments, I would love to hear from you so please leave me a message below.
All products I have used are listed at the end of this post. Next on our hop is the lovely Tricia Butts. Click on the Next button to see what she has created for you.
