With so much time on my hands, I can tell you what’s been happening at our home. More Crafting, Cleaning, Cooking, Consuming … do you find you’re eating more? How does that work? Cassidy and I went shopping and came back with a ton of – chocolates, chips (the essentials) and of course some other things we need to survive!
There’s lots of cleaning up and organizing going on too. I’ve been doing some organizing in the craft room. One essential I have in my craft room is the Stampin’ Up! storage units.
These are modular units and priced very reasonably, so you can add to your collection when your budget allows. They can be arranged to suit your work area and the way you like things placed.
There’s room to store your ink refills in the Topper and the Stampin’ Blends fit in separate storage units. The Open Storage units give more room to add any other items. I have added extra ink pads and embellishments within reach.
The coordinating Stampin’ Write Markers fit in the slot next to the ink pads. I love that I can have these units on my desk within arms reach so that selecting the right colour for my project is quick and convenient. When I need a green, I just hold up the card next to my greens and go, ‘yeah this one goes well’. It’s that simple. Added bonus, they look great as well.

The biggest news in the last 24 hours in the crafting world has been the release of a new product range. I reckon every demonstrator squealed when they saw it. I am so excited to be able to bring you this awesome news. Stampin; Up! are launching a brand new storage system. These modular units are designed to store everything from your ink pads, ink refills to Stampin’Blends, Stampin’ Write Markers, Watercolour pencils and anything else you can think of.
What’s great is that these units can be customized to suit YOUR needs. So it doesn’t matter what size your crafting space is – if it’s a desk or a room, you can customize and arrange these units to the specific space you work in. They are designed to hold the new style ink pads and I’m so excited about this because I’ve been hanging out for a year for something to hold my new ink pads. You can have all these at your fingertips with the coordinating colours stored side by side. I think this is going to be so awesome because we are all going to be so organized and we can then get so much more crafting done.
Stampin’ Up! have put a lot of thought into the design of these modular units which are going to be so beneficial to us as crafters.

- Products are stored horizontally – as recommended.
- It’s made from lightweight, durable plastic and is designed to stack. In testing, 50 storage trays have been stacked on top of each other – that’s a lot of storage.
- Stacks vertically and can be arranged to fit into any flat workspace. So everyone is covered. How exciting.
- They can be easily assembled and taken apart for rearranging and cleaning.

I will be ordering these as soon as they are released on 1st April as I have been hanging out for ink pad storage. Can’t wait to get it all together and add my other colouring mediums in there too.
