The Butterfly Brilliance Collection is the latest product offering from Stampin’ Up! and it’s ready to flutter right into your craft room. With beautiful Designer Series Paper, a coordinating wood-look, Natural Touch Specialty Paper, stamps and dies, this collection will just make you want to start crafting right away. Of course, if you are a butterfly fan, then this is one to add to your collection.
On these cards, I made the most of the beautiful Designer Series Paper.
One of the sheets of DSP can be die cut with one single die to give you several butterflies. I’ve used these to add onto the first card. This provides quick, pre-coloured embellishments for your cards.
The Natural Touch Specialty Paper has different textures on either side. These can be stamped on and embossed to give you a variety of ways to use them. Here, I embossed it with the Meadow Moments Embossing Folder.
Until Sunday 7th March I have a shopping special. Orders over $100 will receive a pack of the beautiful Butterfly Gems. Click on any of the products below to be taken direct to my shop. You can also message me or call me to place your order.
How exciting to share this time with you as I get to show you a sneaky peek at some products from the new Stampin’ Up! catalogue which becomes available to customers on the 3rd of June. Welcome to my blog and I really hope you enjoy the project I have for you today.
Selecting products to showcase is always a bit hard when it comes to a new catalogue. Only because I want to showcase everything but I made my choice today purely on the beautiful texture in the In Good Taste suite. The Designer Series Paper has background images of wood texture, brick, tiles and more. It’s just so beautiful and lovely to work with.
I started off by stamping the background tiles in Rococo Rose and the stems in Gray Granite, Then I added Versamark through a mask to the top section of my card. This was heat embossed in Clear Embossing Powder. Using sponge daubers, I added colour over the embossing in Rococo Rose and Gray Granite.
I coloured the flower with a combination of Rococo Rose, Flirty Flamingo and Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends. When you combine Stampin’ Blend colours it adds even greater depth to the image. The combination of Gray Granite, Rococo Rose and all the texture really worked so well. Colour coordination is easy – just look at the paper and be inspired.
The In Good Taste Elements add that natural wood look to create even more texture on this card.
