Two days in a row and I’ve reached for the retired stash. This time it’s the coordinating dies for theTrees for Sale stamp set which was a Sale-A-Bration product. You know I have never used this lights image before? Great to be giving life to these stamps for the #30DayChristmasCardMakingChallenge.
The Christmas Lights stamp set which is currently on the Last Chance list would be great for this theme as well (except I don’t have it). The coordinating dies are on sale so you could get this at a really great price.
I stamped the image several times and die cut it then added it to a tag. I die cut this from Shimmery White Cardstock painted with a wash of Polished Pink. Then I added a blending of Craft Ink over for a look of ‘light’ and added Polished Pink through a mask for extra detail.
This card is simple in design yet filled with little interesting details for the recipient to look over and enjoy.
Our Last Chance sale is on right now and there are lots of bargains to be had in there as well as on our Clearance Rack. Check out the Specials here. Products are available while supplies last so don’t miss out on these super specials.

It’s #simplestamping at the New at SU Blog Hop today while we showcase our beautiful Sale-A-Bration products. Sale-A-Bration products are exclusive to this promotion which ends on 31st August and you can’t purchase them – they are yours FREE with a qualifying order. Every $90 you spend (in Australia) will qualify you for a free product from the Sale-A-Bration range.
We did have some guidelines in this hop – it had to be simple stamping and we could only add ONE accessory OR tool. Sometimes, simple can be the hardest to design but it made me go back to basics. My Sale-A-Bration product which is the Tree Lot Dies is a Tool therefore that sorted out my tool or accessory decision.
Watercolouring is an easy technique and I would recommend this to a beginner stamper as it gives great results. For my card I created a watercoloured piece with the Trees for Sale stamp set and then cut it into smaller panels. This is a fun way to create an interesting background.
The caravan from the Tree Lot Dies was die cut and paper-pieced for a cute addition to this card.
