Tri-Fold Shutter Card – Floral Charm Suite

For the third card in my Card Creations Series for August, I created a Tri-Fold Shutter Fancy Fold Card. This is an easy fun fold while still giving a WOW factor. With 4 score lines and 2 cut lines, you’re done. Take a look at the video below to see it come together.

The sheet of Floral Charm Designer Series Paper I used on this card is my favourite in the pack. I love the subtle colours which give it a vintage look. This fold is lovely to show off beautiful Designer Series Paper.

I’ve added matte layers on this card however you could skip this and just add the DSP onto the card base.

I die cut the flower from Petal Pink and Soft Sea Foam Cardstock, trimming and layering it for a simple yet elegant focal point. To add depth, I detailed the petals with a Cajun Craze Watercolor Pencil and softened the shading with a Colour Lifter. By keeping the flower minimalistic, it allows the Designer Series Paper to truly shine.
