I’ve made a few polar bears using the Beary Cute bundle which I really love. For this card I decided to go with the brown variation for a more walk-through-the-woods look.
The Beary Cute bundle includes a stamp set and a punch which punches out this particular bear. However, there’s a whole family of bears in the stamp set and the baby bear is so cute.
The bear was coloured in a variety of Stampin’ Blends which gave it lovely shading. For tips and details watch the video tutorial HERE.
I die cut a banner from the beautiful Walk in the Forest DSP which provided the greenery of the woods. For adding quick texture you can’t go past Embossing Folders and the Christmas Tidings Embossing Folder is a great addition to our range. Filled with festive words, sentiments and images this is going to be a very well used product in my stash.
I hope you enjoy the video tutorial. Join me every Saturday at 7:30 pm, starting tomorrow, for my 12 weeks of Christmas series on YouTube.

Today I’m playing along with the Global Design Project Challenge #gdp412 CASE the designer project. We are CASEing a card by Wilma de Korte from the the Netherlands.
To CASE means to Copy and Selectively Edit any part of the card whether it’s layout, colours, themes, stamp set. I’ve copied the layout of Wilma’s card creating a houndstooth background with the Abundant Beauty Decorative mask.
The frame was blended in Real Red and then I added Gilded Leafing with Liquid Glue dotted in sections. This was mounted using Foam Adhesive Sheets cut into thin strips.
On this I added the apples, coloured in with a variety of Stampin’ Blends and cut out using the scalpel tip from the Take Your Pick Crafters Tips. This was great to get inbetween all the leaves so that the background was visible.
The sentiment was stamped on the Delightful Floral Designer Series Paper which was also used as one of the matte layers. To stabilise the sentiment I added 3 layers of scrap cardstock under it before mounting it with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Products used to create this card are listed at the bottom of this post. You can shop online or contact me to place your order.
Have a fabulous week and if I can help you in any way, please get in touch with me.

With the beautiful colours of Colour Palette #23 I went with a fresh approach to the Earthen Textures bundle. This suite is, as it’s name says, more ‘earthy’ with the colours of the Designer Series Paper being rich browns, grays and more neutral colours.
Changing up the colours gives it a more vibrant look. My key element for this card is the Melon Mambo vase with some greenery. In the background I’ve added some masking with Balmy Blue which gave it a lovely soft texture. I just love our masks (or stencils as you may like to call it). These tools can be used in a variety of ways and they are such great value. We have 2 sets in our Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue and 1 set in our September – December Mini Catalogue with a variety of designs.
The larger leaf in the background was blended with the 2 greens for some variation in colour. I really liked how these colours coordinated with the Melon Mambo vase. To cool down the warm colours a matte layer of Balmy Blue Cardstock and a DSP banner from A Walk in the Forest Designer Series Paper have been added.
This beautiful Designer Series Paper is our product give back for this year. For every paper pack sold, Stampin’ Up! will donate $4.25 AngliCare’s Toys n’ Tucker in Australia. You can support this cause by purchasing a pack of this beautiful paper which coordinates with the Merriest Treest dies (#162047) and Beary Cute punch (#162022).
Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful rest of the weekend.
