Hello, Welcome to another Around the World on Wednesday Blog Hop. This month we are getting our inspiration from all types of markets. I’ve drawn mine from the farmers market with it’s woven baskets filled with fresh fruit and vegetables.
I used .5cm strips of Basic White Cardstock to weave my basket panel. I glued the top of the first few strips to a larger piece of Cardstock first which helps the little strips not to move around too much while weaving them together. Once I created my woven panel, I added Soft Suede, Early Espresso and Cinnamon Cider using a Blending Brush and a Sponge Dauber.
For the strawberries I spritzed a piece of Shimmery White Cardstock with water and then stamped the strawberries in Polished Pink and Just Jade while it was still damp. This stamp and punch set is retiring and only available while supplies last.
Next up on our trip around the world is the talented Aurelie Fabre in France. Please make sure you see all the beautiful inspiration from our international marketplace!
