Candy Canes & Holly for fms557

I’ve had a lot of fun blending a few products to create this Christmas card. Garden Green takes a bit of a back seat in my craft room generally as I tend to choose the softer greens so I enjoyed using it here and I’m just loving how it looks on this card.

My card has been inspired by the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches. As I saw the square on the sketch I knew that had to be replaced with the holly label from the Leaves of Holly bundle. I die cut it from White Cardstock and blended Garden Green ink over it.

I created a cluster of leaves from the Textural Elements, Gold Holly leaves and some stamped leaves. For these, I stamped the leaves in Pear Pizzazz on Soft Sea Foam for a softer look.

The White Hive embossed background provides a contrast for my die cut elements. The candy cane was die cut from the Sweetest Christmas Designer Series Paper and added to the focal arrangement for a sweet change to the Leaves of Holly bundle. I love the pop of red against all the greens.
