Hello friends, Welcome to our CASEing the Catty Challenge and for CTC48S we are shaking things up as we CASE Shaker Cards from the Annual Catalogue.
I was inspired by this card from Page 123 of the Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue which uses a watercolour wash Designer Series Paper for the background.
To recreate this look, I blended Lemon Lolly and Soft Sea Foam ink to place at the back of my card. I used the Iconic Imagery dies to create my window and added a piece of Window sheet behind to see my shaker elements. The window was filled with some Loose Frosted Dots and die cut stars.
To create the die cut stars, I adhered Petunia Pop Glimmer Paper back to back so that when I die cut the stars, they would have colour on both sides when inside the window.
I blended Petunia Pop and Soft Sea Foam ink on Basic White Cardstock and stamped the sentiment from the Iconic Imagery stamp set to give a lovely shaded look to my sentiment. This was fussy cut and added to my celebratory cake from the Attention Shoppers bundle.
For a contrast, I added some striped Petunia Pop Designer Series Paper at an angle on the base of the card. A double bow with Petunia Pop and Gold brings my card together.
