I’ve been inspired to create a Gate Fold card with the sketch for Day 23 of my Sketchtember Challenge.
Measurements
Cardstock 21cm x 14.8 cm
Score at 5.2 cm and 15.8 cm on the long side
DSP 4.8 cm x 14.4 cm (2 panels)
The flower was coloured with Pool Party, Polished Pink and Blackberry Bliss Stampin’ Blends and the leaves with Soft Sea Foam and Pool Party Blends. The White circle embossed with the Hive Embossing Folder provides the contrast for the flower to stand out against.

Have you got lots of paper scraps like I do? The sketch for Day 22 of our Sketchtember Challenge is a great way to use up your paper or Cardstock scraps.
I’ve used the beautiful Lovely in Linen Designer Series Paper to create this quick and easy card.
The sentiment was stamped in Evening Evergreen and I used Sweet Sorbet and Soft Succulent Stampin’ Write Markers to colour the stamp directly. Then I lightly went over the label with Crumb Cake ink to give it a vintage look.

I’ve chosen a more modern colour palette for Day 21 of my Sketchtember Challenge pairing 2 of our cutest stamp sets – Penguin Place and Christmas Scottie.
This is one of my favourite sketches with the offset rectangles being so forgiving – no need to worry about straight pieces or gluing askew and it works with DSP and cardstock.
For the background I applied Crumb Cake ink directly to the embossing folder before running the Cardstock through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.
I used images from the Penguin Place stamp set to create the background on the White Cardstock. Love how we can create our own backgrounds with stamps.

It’s a slimine sketch for Day 20 of my Sketchtember Challenge and I’m using the beautiful Peace to You stamp set. for the first time. The images and sentiments in this stamp set capture the true meaning of Christmas.
The image of the church was heat embossed in white then I blended Balmy Blue, Tahitian Tide and Starry Sky over it.. Some Snowfall Accents Puff Paint created a layer of snow at the bottom.
HOW TO USE PUFF PAINT
Apply the Puff Paint over the desired area
Heat emboss until it puffs up
I picked the pretty Snowflake Irridescent Vellum for my background which adds just the right amount of sparkle. Then I blended the same 3 inks over the mask for an additional layer which created a nice contrast to the soft vellum.
What about those Sprig Trinkets? Aren’t they just stunning? I actually just received them in my last order and I’m loving them!

For Day 19 of my Sketchtember Challenge I’ve created a simple and elegant Christmas card using Cherry Cobbler and Gold with some neutrals added in.
I added a Kraft cardstock matte onto the card base and then layered the specialty DSP and foil. Then I added some gold embossing powder to the Textural Elements to coordinate with the Gold Foil layer.
The simple sentiment was stamped on a die cut circle from the Lights Aglow Dies. I added a double layer of Stampin’ Dimensionals so the embossed elements could fit under.
This is a great card to make multiples of in the lead up to Christmas. You could omit the heat embossing and add the Textural Elements in the natural look to quicken the process even more.

How cute is the Christmas Scottie bundle? It’s so sweet and and this little guy is my feature for Day 18 of the Sketchtember Challenge. If you haven’t been playing along this month, it’s my birthday month and I’m celebrating – especially since it’s a big one! So each day of September I’ve been sharing a sketch and you are welcome to play along and share your creations.

I’ve used the beautiful Snowflake Specialty Vellum for the right panel. This paper comes with Vellum and Irridescent Foil and is so pretty. The texture on it is just lovely.
I used the Stamparatus to repeatedly stamp the Scottie dog. This gave it a nice crisp image which I fussy cut.
