The Love You Always Foiled Specialty Designer Series Paper creates beautiful cards and backgrounds which really don’t need much else on the card. The beauty of the paper just shines through … literally. This paper comes in Blushing Bride, Rococo Rose and Sahara Sand which gives you a lovely neutral option.
With such an elegant look it just makes beautiful Anniversary, Wedding and Engagement cards.
This was one of the projects on my 5 day mini series for Valentine’s day to share cards with the ones you love.

It’s time for our New at SU Blog Hop and we are bringing to you lots of love and hearts in time for Valentine’s Day next month or perhaps any other ‘hearty’ occasion.
I’ve used the Always in my Heart bundle and the Forever & Always bundle on this card. The entire Love you Always suite is a bumper suite with heaps of beautiful products. The foil is gorgeous and the black and white True Love DSP is a must have from this catalogue.
I used a Smoky Slate card base to bring out the beauty of the DSP. The heart from the Floral Hearts Dies, die cuts the beautiful filigree heart and also die cuts the centre heart so you get 2 hearts at the same time. I die cut a second set from Basic White cardstock and stamped my sentiment on it.
I kept the card sketch simple to let the foil heart stand out as it’s just such lovely delicate look. This sentiment is perfect to celebrate a Wedding Anniversary.
Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today. I hope you have enjoyed the card I have shared with you. Click on the Next Blog button to see Jennette Gauthier’s project.

Father’s Day is just over a week away and I have some quick make card ideas to share with you to create for a special Dad. I chose A Good Man stamp set as it has images perfect for the occasion. The sentiments will suit whatever you wish to convey to your Dad, Husband, Grandpa and special men in your lives.
I added a label in Early Espresso cardstock which has been embossed for some extra interest on this card.
The sentiment is just so sweet and perfect to give Dad to show him how valued he is.
The bright red on this card together with the polka dots makes it rather cheerful. Express your gratitude to Dad with this sentiment included in the A Good Man stamp set.
I’ve got an engagement card to share with you today which I made for a special order. The theme was a rustic yet elegant look. This is an A5 card to which I added the Woven Threads Designer Series Paper. The front of my card was trimmed about 1.5cm shorter on the width. Then I added a strip of Designer Series Paper on the inside of the card, creating a pretty border.
I paired the Magnolia Lane Memories & More card pack and Designer Series Paper with the Forever Blossoms stamp set to achieve just the right touch of rustic and added the beautiful Silver Metallic Edged ribbon to add the touch of elegance. I am a huge fan of gingham (you might have guessed) and if it’s rustic, gingham’s in. The Neutrals Designer Series Paper stack has 4 different patterns in all our Neutral colours. This collection is a must have in my Designer Series Paper stash as neutral colours work in with a lot of projects. The gingham heart was punched out with one of the hearts from the Heart Punch Pack. It was then adhered to the reverse of one of the heart doilies.
I stamped the blossoms on Shimmery White cardstock in Early Espresso ink. I went against the general rule of using water-based markers with a non-water based ink pad – like Stazon. The image was coloured in with Petal Pink and Old Olive Stampin’ Write Markers, using an Aqua Painter to blend it. As I wanted a softer look, I chose the Early Espresso ink and I didn’t really mind that it blended in a bit as it added to the rustic look of the card.
The inside of the card was decorated with a couple of cards from the Memories & More Card Pack. Adding this was a perfect touch for this happy couple. Memories & More card packs are great for scrapbooking as well cardmaking, as I’ve done here.

It’s great to have you stop by today. If you are following the hop, you will probably be coming from seeing Anastasia’s lovely project. If I’m your first stop, please go through all the blogs as we all have some great inspiration for this blog hop with an interesting theme of Green Monochromatic.
In Stampin’ Up! we are spoiled with the range of colours we have to work with and for this challenge there was an abundance of greens to choose from. This is the green palette I chose.
The first image I had was a ladies pretty dress and I chose the Wonderful Moments stamp set as it was one of the more recent sets I had got and I was keen to get it inked up.
I started off by stamping the little flowers from the Thoughtful Blooms stamp set on a piece of Whisper White cardstock. This is a Sale-A-Bration stamp set which can be earned free with a $90 order.
I stamped the lady over the flowers as I felt this looked more natural than trying to stamp the flowers on top of the dress. I then coloured the dress with Mint Macaron Stampin’ Blends. For the final touch, I added some sparkle from the Wink of Stella brush all over the skirt. It just makes this skirt look so pretty and sparkly. My 16 year old daughter, Cassidy, saw it and said she’d love to wear a dress like this.
The Garden Lane Designer Series Paper was a late addition and I think it is perfect for this hop with all the green hues in it. I die cut the panels with the Stitched Rectangle dies. For the Whisper White embossed panel, I extended the die by partially die cutting and then turning and realigning to cut the rest of the panel. This gives me a longer panel than the actual die size.
The additional flowers are from one of my favourites in the Mini Catalogue – the Botanical Prints Product Medley. I coloured and die cut 2 of the bouquets, cutting one in sections to fit over the sentiment. This would make a lovely graduation card.
I hope you have been inspired by my card to try out some monochromatic projects and would love for you to leave me a comment. All products I have used on this card are listed at the bottom of this post. If you live in Australia and don’t have a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, I would love the opportunity to help you along your creative journey.

Welcome to another Stamper’s Showcase Blog Hop and a special welcome to my blog, Stamping Flair. I am a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator in Blind Bight, Australia – a small coastal town in Victoria. So glad to have you stop by and as a group of demonstrators from around the world we are hoping to inspire you with lots of ideas from the amazing Sale-A-Bration catalogue.
What is Sale-A-Bration?
If you are new to the whole stamping thing you might wonder what is Sale-A-Bration and why does Rochelle keep going on about it? So glad you asked.
It is the best sale of the Stampin’ Up! year
You get to earn free products with a minimum spend -. In Australia the minimum order value is $90 and every increment thereafter earns you another reward
There are 2 tiers of rewards – some at the $90 threshold and others at the $180 threshold so you have lots to choose from
The best part is there no limit to the number of products you can earn for free
Pretty good right?
So for my project I pulled out the Happy Birthday to You stamp set which is a Sale-A-Bration reward you can earn with a $90 order. I also combined several other Sale-A-Bration items on this project to give you maximum inspiration.
I started off with Granny Apple Green and Bermuda Bay Pigment Sprinkles on Shimmery White cardstock. To maintain a little bit of control over where the colour went, I first added water with an Aqua Painter then sprinkled the powder. Then I added more drops of water, leaving it to dry well between colours. I love the different looks that pigment sprinkles give. This panel was layered on the beautiful Lily Impressions Designer Series Paper which is another Sale-A-Bration offering.
I coloured the flowers with a combination of Stampin’ Blends and die cut them with the Sale-A-Bration coordination die set. These dies are great for cutting the cake image, flowers, the stand and all the leaves I’ve got on this arrangement. I added a piece of faux suede white cardstock which I embossed with the Parisian Flourish embossing folder – just for a little bit of extra texture.
A strip of Sale-A-Bration Golden Honey Designer Series Paper adds just the right amount of gold to coordinate with the gold embossing.
I hope this inspires you to get busy with all the lovely goodies that Sale-A-Bration has on offer. All products I have used on this card are listed below. Make sure you visit all the blogs for more inspiration and please leave us comments as we’d love to hear from you.
