Celebratory Sips Thank You Card
The Celebratory Sips suite is just gorgeous and what I love most is the Designer Series Paper. It’s got fun images that can be fussy cut or used as backgrounds and it has a pretty colour palette.
I have used the suite products to create a card inspired by the sketch at Global Design Project #gdp502 and the parameters at the Craft Roulette Show Episode 272.
- Project – Thank You Card
- Colours – Flying Kits
- Element – Space
- Random – High Falootin’ Paper
I love a challenge and these kind of parameters always get me thinking outside the box.
Thank you cards are always needed so the sentiment and choosing kite colours was easy. Any papers with pretty colours were going to work. By using the sketch, I interpreted that there was space between each of those rectangles so the element parameter was cover. While I don’t use huge amounts of ‘High Falootin’ Paper’ I managed to sneak in some of the gorgeous Thoughtful Designs Specialty Paper which has a lovely pearlised finish to it, to fulfil that part of the challenge.
For the focal image, I simply fussy cut some of the Designer Series Paper. Take a look at the video below to see a fun technique for creating those cute flowers.
A heat embossed sentiment which has been fussy cut completes this card.
