I’m excited to share with you these cards that I have made with this fun product medley. I got mine in the mail Tuesday but I resisted opening the package until I had finished the project that I was working on and cleaned my desk. Wednesday being my day off from my regular job, I was able to admire these goodies. I have been looking forward to ordering this since it was first shown and now that I have it, I can tell you it is amazing. There is so much in it, you will be creating like there’s no tomorrow. The stamps are beautiful and the dies that accompany them have some lovely intricate detail.
The product medley includes
- 18 photopolymer stamps
- 10 dies
- 48 sheets of 6’x6′ Designer Series Paper – 8 each of 6 double-sided designs. One side has Rose Gold detail.
- 8 sheet of 6’x6′ Rose Gold foil paper
- 2 sheets printed die cuts
- 4 sheets rose gold die cuts – 2 sheets of 2 designs
- 60 Rose Gold adhesive backed mirror embellishments (these have a clear film on top to protect them),
- 9.1 metres Melon Mambo Ruched Ribbon
- 9.1 metres Night of Navy/Rose Gold Metallic-Edge Ribbon
- 15ml Rose Gold Shimmer Paint
As for the double sided Designer Series Paper – you need to see it to really see how beautiful it is. It looks so opulent with the Rose Gold through it.
I just had to make this paper the prominent feature on my first 2 cards from this suite as it is so pretty. How could I not? I had trouble picking which sheets I wanted to use first and ended up choosing this gorgeous Night of Navy with Rose Gold swirl paper. For a contrast, I chose a striped sheet without the Rose Gold feature for the second card.
The smaller oval has been embossed with the Tufted embossing folder and on this card with the Night of Navy background the Rose Gold Foil sheet really stands out with the embossing. I created a stamped panel with one of the flowers from this 18 piece stamp set. The Melon Mambo has been stamped off once to achieve a muted look.
The rich Night of Navy ribbon with the Rose Gold edging adds a glamorous touch to this card. On both cards I have used die cut flowers from the printed die cut sheets. These are great for creating quick projects.
On the next card I added a similar border in the centre but used the leaves instead with Night of Navy stamped off. The images stamp really well and are lovely. When using photopolymer stamps, it’s helpful to have a Piercing Mat underneath the cardstock to act as a cushion which will give you a crisper image.
The sentiment has been mounted on a small banner created from a bit of leftover (it’s not scrap when it’s Rose Gold!) paper. Although it’s small it adds a nice element to this card. I added a Rose Gold mirror embellishment to the centre of the flower to tie in with the Designer Paper under the sentiment
