Country Wreath Christmas – 30 Day Christmas Cardmaking Challenge
I’ve drifted a touch from Nostalgic November and haven’t used any retired products for Day 9 of the 30 Day Christmas Cardmaking Challenge. However, I could stretch it and say I did use Blueberry Bushel which is a returning colour so it’s a bit nostalgic!
I cut a Kraft notecard into 2.5 cm strips and glued it to a Basic White panel to create the background. I like the country charm the Kraft cardstock adds to the Cottage Wreath. This background style is a great way of using up Cardstock scraps as well.
Both layers of wreaths were die cut from White Cardstock. The base layer was coloured with the Light Old Olive Stampin’ Blend. For the top layer I sponged Old Olive and Blueberry Bushel inks using a Sponge Dauber. Then I added some moore colour with Stampin’ Blends. I also added some Blueberry Bushel sponging on the bottom layer. This created a fuller wreath with varying colours.
The bow was coloured with the Light Blueberry Bushel Stampin’ Blend to coordinate with my card.
