Hello,
I’m so glad that you have stopped by my blog today. A Group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from the ESAD Facebook group are blog hopping showcasing the beautiful products in the new Stampin’ Up! Holiday catalogue.
Let it Snow Suite
I’ve chosen one of the cute suites which I really love. The Let it Snow Suite (Item #153386) is on Pages 18-21 of the catalogue. This suite has several products in it and includes a very cute Snowman Builder punch, Mini Curvy Keepsakes Box Dies and 2 sets of stamps – Snowman Season and Tiny Keepsakes (Item #150460). The coordinating colours of Blueberry Bushel, Basic Black, Coastal Cabana, Flirty Flamingo, Real Red, Shaded Spruce and Whisper White give it a real wintry feel. I know it’s not your typical Aussie Christmas but somehow I love snowmen at Christmastime. This suite just adds to the Christmas magic with it’s sparkly Designer Series paper and pretty colours.
My card features one of the cute snowmen from the Snowman Season stamp set. Simply stamp and punch out – it’s that easy. I fussy cut a beanie and his shawl is from the Let it Snow Embellishment Kit (Item #150425). This kit comes complete with 60 stitched felt accents in Coastal Cabana, Flirty Flamingo, Shaded Spruce and Real Red, 96 enamel shapes, 36 felt snowballs, 1.8m of washi tape – lots of goodies to dress up your snowman and your projects.
Mercury Glass Designer Acetate
The circle is punched out of Coastal Cabana cardstock. On top of that is one of the hidden gems in this catalogue – Mercury Glass Designer Acetate. LOVE IT! You will find this on the bottom right of Page 44. There are 2 designs which have a faux mercury glass finish. One is a speckled finish and the other is a cracked finish and they are stunning.
Itty Bitty Christmas Bundle
The snowflakes and sentiment are from the Itty Bitty Christmas Bundle which includes the Christmas Layers Dies and the Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set. For a variety of sentiments you really can’t go past this stamp set. It has you covered for all types of Christmas cards for family, friends, faith-based, fun, gift tags and even new year greetings – 18 stamps in all.
Coordinate this card with this little gift box which is really quick to make and so cute decorated with the Let it Snow DSP. I saw a version of it on Pinterest from Aural Models and adapted the way I made it. It’s a really fun pull out box and t’s got the element of surprise as it opens out in the opposite way to what you would normally expect.
The box is quite easy to make.I embossed the Real Red cardstock with the Winter Knit embossing folder and used Stampin’ Write Markers to create the multi-coloured sentiment.
Details for creating the box can be viewed HERE.

Super cute snowman card. I am another that doesn’t tend to lean towards snow themed Christmas but these projects are very cute x
