Feathered Fun Scenic Card
Hello everyone, I’ve got a beautiful scenic card to share with you today using the Scenic Adventure bundle and Feathered Fun stamp set. I’ve followed the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches #fms688 and used lots of Designer Series Paper to complete the sketch.
For the top I added the Beautiful Gallery Designer Series Paper and die cut the mountains from the same sheet. By just adding a little bit of Crumb Cake blending at the bottom and adding Stampin’ Dimensionals, it created a subtle texture.
On the bottom panel I added a strip of Timeless Plaid DSP. The checks added a nice country feel to my card, in keeping with the scene I chose.
For the centre panel, I die cut a scene from the Beautiful Gallery DSP and created a frame. Around the birds I added a few leaves, one being some trees which were converted to leaves for this project.
I’ve used the birds from the Feathered Fun stamp set for my focal image. This is a reversible stamp set which means that you can use the reverse of a stamp to fill in the colour. For this card I have coloured it in Watercolor Pencils. The colours I chose were colours that were predominant on The Stamping Lounge Scenic Retreat products.
Our creative team of Kayla Mackaulay, Maheswari Rajaguru and myself hosted a Live event just this Saturday where we all created projects around these colours. You can view the video below to see the process of all 3 cards being created.
