Global Monthly Video Hop – WV Fun Fold with Neutral Noel Suite
Today I’m participating in the Global Monthly Video Hop and our theme is Fun Folds. For my card I’m creating the WV Fun Fold – named as such because of the W at the base and the V on top. To decorate, I’m using a gorgeous new suite from the September-December Stampin’ Up! catalogue. The Neutral Noel suite is a mega suite and includes 2 bundles, specialty paper and more.
With a few score lines, this fold comes together very easily. It’s ideal for showcasing our gorgeous Designer Series Paper and using it!
The Neutral Noel Designer Series Paper is a specialty paper with sophisticated patterns and gold foil designs. Generally, I would use metallic papers in small quantities but I thought, I should just go beyond my comfort zone and add a little bit of extra shine. While being liberal with my use of the gold foil paper, I added Soft Sea Foam to ‘tone it down’ so to speak. This made it more my style as I was bringing in colours I would normally use, while still giving me a different look.
I really loved how the combination of the patterns worked together. Along with the stamped and die cut houses and trees, it blended well.
