In the final class of my To the Point Label Card Creations Series I shared how you can use punch to create larger shapes. This enables you to customise the punch to your projects.

Happy Saturday friends, Welcome to this week’s Monochromatic colour challenge for the Crafty Collaborations Insta Hop. Today we have a beautiful soft gray, Smoky Slate, which has almost a silver tinge. I am using the Attention Shoppers Bundle to feature some variations of this colour on my card.
The first secction I worked on was the polka dots. It’s been a while since I used this technique and it was so much fun. Just take a sponge dauber, tab it into the ink pad and dot away on your project! Such a great way to add a background and if you haven’t tried it, go get your Sponge Daubers!
A thin strip of Silver Foil separates the Take to the Sky patterned paper on top from the polka dots.
I stamped 2 shopping bags, colouring one with Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends and paper piecing the other with the Country Lace Designer Series Paper. Paper Piecing offers a fun way to add designs to elements.
Around the shopping bags, I added some cut apart ephemera flowers and leaves in simple black and white to fill in and add depth to my card.
I used 2 sentiments from the Saying Something Mix & Match Ephemera Pack, colouring the bottom one with a Dark Basic Black Stampin’ Blend. These sentiments were offset and then glued to the card, giving the letters a shadow effect. Some Silver Metallic gems complete this card, adding a touch of sparkle.

Hello, Welcome to a Monochromatic Saturday with Gray Granite as the featured colour for our weekly Crafty Collaborations Monochromatic Insta Hop. Just like last week, with Night of Navy, I was leaning towards a masculine card however I felt it may be too heavy and in the end opted for a floral card with the Garden Meadow bundle for a fresh feel to this colour.
I started with the beautiful Leaf Fall 3D Embossing Folder and added some blending with Gray Granite ink over the raised areas. Then I went with smaller elements to fill out my card. The gumboots were stamped onto the Lily Pond Lane Designer Series Paper and I fussy cut them instead of using the coordinating dies as I didn’t want a margin around the edge.
I coloured the watering can in Gray Granite Stampin’ Blends adding some shadow with the Light Basic Black Stampin’ Blend.
Layered die cut circles form the base for these small elements to be arranged around. Using the Choose Happy stamp set, I stamped and fussy cut some flowers from the Nature’s Sweetness DSP.
I die cut some leaves from Gold Foil using the Stippled Roses dies and cut them apart to fit between the flowers. The gold coordinated beautifully with the touches of gold on the flowers.

Hello and welcome to Boho Blue week. This is our weeky Instagram hop and I like to share the details of my project on my blog so you can recreate with the products I’ve used if it takes your fancy. Boho Blue is another one of my favourites. It’s a pretty and soft blue and quite calming. It’s part of our 2023-2025 In-Colors so I’m glad we’ve got another year with it.
For my main image I used the flowers from the Softly Sophisticated stamp set which is part of a stamp and embossing folder bundle. This bundle is a free earn during Sale-A-Bration with a $180 order.
I die cut the image out using the Perennial Postage dies and matte it onto a large Boho Blue die cut. Behind this image I added a sprig of leaves from the Artistic dies. I cut the leaves apart so I could arrange them the way that suited the layout.
A strip of Boho Blue Cardstock behind the leaves was blended with Boho Blue ink to create a darker variegated tone.
On the base I added some Let’s go Fishing Designer Series Paper which has Boho Blue as well as some other blues which worked with the monochromatic theme.
To complete my card I added a vellum butterfly for a soft feature and embellished it with Boho Blue gems.

Hi friends, Welcome to our New at SU Blog hop for August where we are featuring some of our suites in the Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue and Online Exclusives range. I’ve chosen the Hello, Irresistible suite which is part of our Online Exclusives range.
The Hello, Irresistible suite includes a stamp set and coordinating dies, Designer Series Paper and embellishments. The dies cut out several of the images in the Designer Series Paper, including flowers and leaves.
My card centred around that one flower which I heat embossed in Clear, stamping with Sweet Sorbet ink on Basic White Cardstock. I created 3 flowers which were watercoloured in Sweet Sorbet and Calypso Coral with a Water Painter. Then I cut them apart and layered each one to form a 3D flower.
I followed the sketch at TGIF Challenges and used some of the beautiful DSP for the top section of my card. I die cut the border also from DSP and blended Sweet Sorbet ink along the bottom edge.
Several leaves were die cut from the DSP and from Basic White Cardstock to fill out the flower.
For the banner, I die cut Soft Sea Foam Cardstock with the detailed die from the Irresistible Blooms dies. Then I adhered this to a piece of Kraft Notecard which I finished off by die cutting with the banner from the Nested Essentials Dies.
