Winter Scenes Christmas Card with Scenic Adventure Dies

For the first card in my September Card Creations Series featuring the Winter Scenes stamp set, I coloured in this beautiful image of a lake with Stampin’ Blends. I love the serene look which this card has which has been really enhanced with the blue tones.

I added two panels of Country Woods Designer Series Paper and then layered it onto a panel of Cloud Cover Cardstock which was embossed with the Birch Wood Embossing Folder. The different textures of wood create such a beautiful look on this card.

One thing I love to do is add other die cuts to my project which complement the focal image. The trees from the Scenic Adventure dies enhanced the stamped image so well and gave it extra dimension. Some distressed Designer Series Paper and twine makes a little feature of the sentiment which has been added on top of the trees.
