Caseing the Catty Challenge CTC567 – Favourite Annual Catalogue Project
Thank you for stopping by my blog today as I participate in the Caseing the Catty Challenge. Our theme for CTC567 is to CASE a favourite Annual Catalogue project.
It’s hard to pick one project as there are many I love for different reasons. This particular card has several layers overlapping each other and that’s what interested me because it’s what I love to do – adding lots of layers.
I chose the Lakeside Retreat Paper Pumpkin Kit to create my version of this sketch. Cutting apart one of the envelopes provided the matte layer in the background.
I’ve also added some Metallic Textures Rub Ons as is in the card from the catalogue. These are so easy to use and really add some lovely detail.
I had been making several alternate cards from this kit and had a pieces leftover from one of the bases. From this, I die cut a square using the Stylish Shapes Dies and layered it onto another square from Basic Beige Cardstock. This made nothing go to waste.
I fussy cut some elements from the Waterside Retreat Designer Series Paper and also took some die cut pieces from the kit to add to my focal point to complete my card.
