Welcome to your monthly trip with the team from the Around the World on Wednesday Blog Hop. On the second Wednesday of each month we share inspiration around a certain theme. This month we have a sketch and I have used the Storybook Moments Suite to feature with it.
Here is the sketch that we are following so make sure you browse through everyone’s projects to see the fun variations we have all come up with.
By card began with that gorgeous die cut arch. Are you loving the Everyday Arches as much as I am? Being a nested set of dies, there are so many ways to create with them.
I stamped the carrots on Basic White Cardstock and coloured them in Stampin’ Blends. Then I coloured around the image with the Light Petal Stampin’ Blend. I love how this turned out, looking like some patterned paper.
On the back of the sketch there are 3 strips and I replicated this with an embossed panel and 2 strips of DSP in varying widths to create some interest. Under the embossed panel I added some ribbon with just the scalloped edge showing, giving it a beautiful border.
With several sentiments available in this suite, I chose Easter and heat embossed it in White for a pop against the colours and designs behind it.

Hello and welcome to the Caseing the Catty challenge. Each week our crew CASE a project from one of the Stampin’ Up! catalogues. This week our Caseing the Catty crew are CASEing projects from the Storybook Moments Suite for CTC506.
This square card with a window to a scene can be found on Page 27 of the catalogue. I have recreated a square card using the Storybook Moments suite and added some of my own touches.
I started with stamping the strawberries in Versamark ink for a watermark effect. Then I die cut a circle to create the window inside to which I added a fussy cut house from the Designer Series Paper.
I added some other fussy cut images and die cuts from the DSP pack to fill in the card. I also added some fussy cut strawberries from the Sale-A-Bration Fruit Salad Designer Series Paper.

The card base is 5″ square and I added another piece of the Fruit Salad DSP as a matte layer. Within the window a piece of Basic White Cardstock has been embossed with the Painted Trees Embossing Folder. I blended some Basic Beige and Old Olive ink over the embossed to make it blend with the scenery of the house.
A birthday sentiment and some Old Olive Ombre Dots fcomplete this card which is DSP heavy and quite easy to put together. No colouring necessary, Just add some die cuts or fussy cut images from the paper.

I chose the layout of this card in the Sale-A-Bration catalogue which actually has a fun ribbon technique. Check out that weaving in the background. How cool is that? You can earn the ribbon free with a $100 order. No ribbon weaving for me today but I did follow the sketch on this card.
I chose some new-to-me products to feature on this card including the Mixed Florals bundle and the To the Point Label Punch. Three punched out images from the Mixed Media Florals Designer Series Paper replace the woven ribbon on this card. I love the black and white against the colourful flowers.
The flowers were coloured in Stampin’ Blends with a black leafy die cut adding an elegant contrast behind it. That is such a gorgeous die. If you haven’t seen this suite, make sure you check it out in our Online Exclusives category in the Online Store.
On the base of the card a matte layer embossed with the Painted Plaster 3D Embossing Folder has been blended with Shy Shamrock ink to provided a contrast against the card base of the same colour. This gorgeous embossing folder is also part of the Mixed Media Florals Suite and it adds fabulous texture to a project.
I went with double embellishments on this card which is something I generally don’t do but these 2 coordinated well and the bees look like they are just meant to be there, don’t you think?

It’s time for another year of inspiration with the New at SU Blog Hop. For my card I’ve chosen the Toadstool Gardens Designer Series Paper which is part of the Sale-A-Bration product range. While there are some brighter designs in this pack of paper, I have chosen a softer design for my background to coordinate with the stamped toadstools. The Terrific Toadstools bundle includes a stamp set and punch which punches the toadstools without a border. This is different to some of our other punches. As I wanted the white border around the image, I fussy cut around them – why make life easy?!!!
I stamped the larger toadstools in Soft Sea Foam then added some shading with the Granny Apple Green Watercolour Pencil. The stem was stamped in Crumb Cake and I added some shading with the Early Espresso Watercolour Pencil. For a pop of colour I also added some Melon Mambo mini toadstools.
I’ve followed the sketch at TGIF Challenges #tgifc507 adding a label from the Greetings of the Season Dies to place my cluster of toadstools on.
A piece of the striped DSP from the same pack was cut at an angle and attached under the label. This added a lovely pop of colour and coordinated with my small toadstools.
Some clear sequins from Purple Adhesive Backed Sequins were coloured with the Dark Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blend and added around my card. This versatile embellishment pack is a Sale-A-Bration product which is available free with a $100 order.

Welcome …. again! If you are a regular to my blog, you would have seen that this is my 2nd blog hop this evening. I’m aiming to keep you inspired for the week! It’s the Caseing the Catty Challenge CTC502 and the crew are caseing projects from the Sale-A-Bration or SAB catalogue.
I was inspired to recreate the sunburst look featured on this scrapbook page which is just beautiful in softer colours.
I chose the Bloom Impressions and Wildflower Birthday DSP to recreate the look. Some Coastal Cabana Cardstock was added to break up all the designs in the paper. I embossed it with the Starstruck Embossing Folder. This folder and the Bloom Impressions Designer Series Paper are Sale-A-Bration offerings which you can get free with a $100 order.
I cut apart strips of paper 3cm in width and the length varied, with the longest being 12cm. Each strip was then cut diagonally to form the triangle.
Then it was just a matter of laying the strips in a design that was pleasing to the eye. I really love how all these designs just came together and look so beautiful set out this way. It’s such a fun way to use up scrap paper too!
A white die cut label brings it all together while hiding the not-so-pretty’ join in the centre.
The flowers and leaves were die cut from Basic White Cardstock and I added the colour with a Blending Brush. The heat embossed sentiment adds a nice pop against the softer colours around it.
As a finishing touch, the flowers were dotted with the Purple Adhesive Backed Sequins which are a SAB product. This is a ‘must-have’ product from the collection. Although it says purple, it is really versatile and has white sequins which can be coloured to suit any project.

Happy Sunday friends, Welcome to the ESAD Blog Hop showcasing products from the Stampin’ Up! 2025 January – April Mini Catalogue and Sale-A-Bration Catalogue. We are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators located in Australia and New Zealand and together today, we are sharing a range of projects to inspire you.

For my creation today I’ve used my favourite suite from the Mini Catalogue. The Storybook Moments suite is a bumper suite with 2 stamp and die bundles, 2 packs of Designer Series Papers, embellishments and ribbons. We also have some gorgeous scrapbooking products that coordinate with this suite.
I layered the cute Designer Series Paper on a panel of Pecan Pie and then Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock On the right hand side I added a strip of embossed Calypso Coral. All this was layered on Basic Beige Cardstock.
I fussy cut the bunny from the DSP sheet and I added some extra detail with Early Espresso, Pecan Pie and Calypso Coral Watercolour Pencils. The carrots and spade were stamped in Early Espresso and coloured with Stampin’ Blends. I added some fine detail on the carrots with Watercolour Pencils. This was added to the centre of one of the frames which are in this suite. I layered the oval 3 times to add depth to it.
The tufts of grass (or carrot tops!) were die cut from Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock. I used a stamp inked with Pecan Pie to roughly stamp over it and blended some Pecan Pie ink at the base to ‘dirty’ it up.
The base postage stamp was die cut from Fluid 100 Cardstock and I created a wash with the Pecan Pie Stampin’ Write Marker. I loved the look it gave which ended up like the soil. This was offset with a die cut of the same size from the Timeless Plaid DSP. This is a versatile pack of DSP and I just love it because it works with any occasion and has a range of colours, several neutral shades which wouold tone in well with so many projects.
The Calypso Coral base card was distressed on the edges with Pecan Pie ink to blend in with other elements on my project. A bow tied with Linen Thread and some Antique Pearls complete this card.
