Hello and welcome to the New at SU Blog Hop where this month you will see – all sorts of creations but not a card! Our team will be sharing with you a range of different projects using products from the Mini Catalogue and Online Exclusives collection.
I’ve got a scrapbook page to share with you using the Rock Star bundle and the entire Rock & Roll suite. This suite comes with a stamp set and coordinating dies, Designer Series Paper and embellishments.
I blended the trio of blues at the base of the Designer Series Paper to create an ombre effect.
The plectrum was die cut from the Rock & Roll Designer Series Paper and heat embossed with Clear Embossing Powder 3 times. This gave it a beautiful shiny finish just like the real ones.
I accented my page with lightning bolts which were die cut from Shimmer Cardstock and coloured with a Dark Highland Heather Stampin’ Blend to coordinate. The star embellishments were coloured in with the Dark Night of Navy Stampin’ Blend and these were placed around the page amongst the various elements.
Please stop by my page later on today to see another page created with this same bundle but with a totally different look. I’ve been having some Rock & Roll fun!
For more inspiration please follow our hop through. Thank you for taking the time to have a look at my project inspiration. I look forward to seeing you back again very soon.

Hello and welcome to our March Blues Monochrome Colour Challenge with the Around the World on Wednesday Blog Hop team. On the 2nd Wednesday of each month our lovely team from all parts of the world share inspiration using Stampin’ Up! products in a collective effort to inspire you with creative ideas.
The Stampin’ Up! blue palette is varied and today our challenge is centering around Pool Party, Balmy Blue, Boho Blue, Misty Moonlight and Night of Navy. Although I didn’t plan on it, I managed to use all of these on my card.
The first element in this card I created was a sheet filled with ombre blue embossing paste. Using ink refills, I coloured the embossing paste in sections using Pool Party, Balmy Blue, Boho Blue, Misty Moonlight and layered it with a palette knife. At this point I had no idea what I was going to create with it but it was just a lot of fun!
One tip I have is, when inspiration is lacking just start playing with colours, create backgrounds, colour in images. That way you are still creating AND you will have something ready for your next project.
I tossed up with the idea of creating a card with a cake because the embossing paste reminded me of icing but beach won through. Over the paste I have stamped some of the texture from the Of Art & Texture stamp set which is part of our Online Exclusives collection. This provided a sea foam look, adding an extra layer of depth.
The surfboard image was my next ‘must have’ on this card. I added some little leaves on it from the Country Bouquet stamp set with a Night of Navy Stampin’ Write Marker. Contrary to what the colour blue generally suggests, I went with a girly card and added some flowers to embellish the surfboard. A bit of Wink of Stella adds a sunkissed glisten to the flowers (although a bit hard to see in the photo). Wings punched out using the Draongflies punch made cute leaves.
I couldn’t resist adding a die cut wave behind the tag – one of my favourites and I think it just makes the scene.
I appreciate you stopping by and I hope you have been inspired by what I have shared to get our some of your products and have fun creating. Please leave a comment as you hop on through to view Cheryll Miller‘s project. Make sure to go around all the team’s blogs and see their designs which are going to leave you feeling anything but ‘blue’.

Welcome to a Easter blog hop with the Crafty Collaborations team. I’ve chosen the beautiful Easter Lillies bundle for my card today.
I love the sentiments in this stamp set which convey the message of Easter. The stamps and dies can be used individually or together to create beautiful floral features.
I started out by die cutting the pieces of the flower from Basic White Cardsttock. Each petal was coloured with Melon Mambo ink using a Blending Brush and he centre was coloured with Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends. For the stamen I used Pecan Pie and Blackberry Bliss Stampin’ Write Markers. Each individual petal was curled with a bone folder before being assembled with a combination of Stampin’ Dimensionals and glue.
On the bottom layer of White Cardstock I added some ink blending through a mask. This layer was then embossed with the Timber Embossing Folder and although not a lot of it is visible, together with the distressed edges, it adds texture. The second layer of White Cardstock was embossed with the Timeworn Type Embossing Folder.
The Polka Dot ribbon was cut in half lengthways to create 2 narrow lengths from I tied a double bow. I used a bone folder to curl the tails of the bow which just added such a beautiful finish to it.
Thank you for stopping by my blog today and I hope you have got some ideas to use on your next project. Please follow our blog hop as we share more inspiration with you.

Welcome to the Crafty Collaborations Scrapbook Sunday Blog Hop. Thank you for stopping by and visiting me in Melbourne where it’s the early hours of Monday morning. I’ve got a fun layout to share with you using the A Little Latte suite which is a new Online Exclusive product.
This suite is perfect for those coffee lovers and would definitely work for hot chocolate fans too. I particularly love the cute little coffee art.
I’m following the page layout from Sketch n Scrap #292 and I used the A Little Latte Designer Series Paper exttensively, right down to die cutting some of the cup images.
All the pieces of the perculator were die cut from Basic White Cardstock and coloured in with a combination of Stampin’ Blends. For the glass piece I added some light Pecan Pie blending to give the look of coffee through glass.
I matte the 2 photo mounts on Early Espresso and Pecan Pie Cardsttock to have contrast against the background layers. A few coffee beans scattered around complete this page which is perfect for filling in with some images of a coffee date with a friend.
Thank you for stopping by my blog today and I hope you have enjoyed what I have shared with you. Please follow our hop through for more scrapbooking inspiration.

Hello and welcome to a very fun New at SU Blog Hop. This month we are stepping it up with products from our January – April Mini Catalogue. We are creating a simple stamping project and then using the same products to step it up for an avid crafter.
I’ve chosen the Beach Day bundle which is very much in season here in Australia and created 3 versions of a card which is suitable for whatever level of crafting you are at right now – or dependent or the time you have to create!
CASUAL
The Delightful Floral Designer Series Paper provides a ready made shaded background for this card. Repeated stamping and a bit of ink blending make this a quick and easy card to make. Colouring was minimal with the surfboard coloured in just Calypso Coral and fussy cut to create a feature on the card.
Tips to keep it simple
Use your Designer Series Paper for maximum effect
Use just a few colours
AVID
I stepped this card up by colouring the other 2 surfboardsa and adding the die cut element of the wave. The sentiment was stamped on a separate piece of cardstock which coordinated with the Azure Afternoon card base and the layout was slightly changed to accommodate the wave border.
ARTFULLY AVID
A bit like the ‘burger with the lot’, the Artfully Avid card tends to add more technique into the mix. I’ve incorporated a bit more die cutting and lots more layers and detail.
I added more ink blending which really makes those surf boards look like they are on an Aussie beach. A cute die cut sandcastle incorporates the elements from my previous cards to give continuity to the step-it-up theme.
I hope you have enjoyed what I’ve shared today and see the possibilities of what you can create with your products. Please make sure to visit all our other team members to see how they step-it-up with their chosen products.

Happy Valentine’s Day! Today the Around the World on Wednesday Blog Hop team are sharing the love of our favourite technique. There are so many great techniques and I can’t wait to see what everyone’s favourite is.
Our team comprises of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators representative of our global market and on the second Wednesday of each month we share creative inspiration with you.
The first thing that popped into my head for my favourite technique was ink blending because I seem to use it it some capacity on the majority of my cards. I managed to incorporate quite a few of my favourite techniques on my cards today as I realised there are some I tend to use quite often such as layering and colouring.
First I blended a background of Flirty Flamingo and Sweet Sorbet. I had an idea of creating a background of cow spots on this background. To do this, I created a mask from Basic White Cardstock using some dies from the Pansy Patch dies which had the shapes suitable for this. Then I blended Pecan Pie and Early Espresso ink through it.
I die cut the background pieces of the greenery from Soft Sea Foam Cardstock and blended Garden Green ink over it to create a variation in colour. The layer at the back has been embossed with the Elegant Eucalyptus Embossing Folder which had the long sprigs like grass. I randomly blended some Cardstock with a range of greens and die cut the grass from it. I love how this provides different shading across the die cut pieces.
The Old Olive panel towards the front was embossed with the Fern embossing folder which added the textured look behind the grass.
As part of this challenge, we were also encouraged to double up the challenge and find out the technique of one of our team members. I really enjoy finding out more about our team like this because we are friends and it’s nice to get to know your friends better. I reached out to Danielle Kassing who let me know that her favourite technique is creating Ink Blended backgrounds (make sure you check her post out). So I’ve created a card focusing on this fun technique.
Using the large grass die cut from the Garden Meadow dies I blended a range of greens down the panel of Basic White Cardstock. This creates a fun ombre background and it’s a great way to use your different coloured ink pads.
The flowers were fussy and I added the cute cow on top. On both the cows today I added a bit of sponge daubing with Pecan Pie ink to add a dusting of earthy dirt!
A panel of White Cardstock embossed with the Stripes embossing folder adds some lovely texture. This embossing folder is part of the Stripes & Splatters pack and you can get it free with a $90 order during our Sale-A-Bration promotions which runs through until 29th February.
What is your favourite technique that you just love? Let me know in the comments. I hope that you have enjoyed the projects I’ve shared with you today and try out some of these fun techniques.
Please hop through to Cheryll Miiller to see what she is sharing with us today. I know she will have something amazing for you.
