Welcome to CTC491 Caseing the Catty Challenge. The Crew are CASEing a sketch from the range of sketches featured on Page 16 of the Stampin’ Up! September-December Mini Catalogue.
When we CASE a project it means to Copy and Selectively Edit something that inspires us and in this challenge it’s the Stampin’ Up! catalogue. I’m CASEing the sketch on the 1st column 4th row, flipping the panels so that they are down the portrait length of the card.
The labels which formed the 3 panels were die cut using the Unbounded Love dies from the Nests of Winter Designer Series Paper. When cut apart, the border is separate. I glued the border down onto the White panel which was embossed with the Forever Plaid embossing folder and mounted the label with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The flowers from the Regal Flora stamp set were inked in Pretty in Pink and I added shading in Berry Burst with a Blending Brush. The leaves were inked in Shy Shamrock with shading in Lost Lagoon, These images are just beautiful and shading it this way adds depth without any effort.
Some White Baker’s Twine and Pool Party Dots add the finishing touch to this card. I hope you love this creation and if you are interested in purchasing any of these products, you can purchase them from my Online Store or by getting in contact with me.

Happy Saturday folks, Hope you are having a great start to the weekend. I’ve got a fresh, sweet card using the Trucking Along bundle for today’s Monochromatic Insta Hop with the Crafty Collaborations team featuring Fresh Freesia.

This bundle includes a two-step stamp set and a coordinating punch. The images can be filled in with another stamp that ‘colours’ it in or you can colour it in with your choice of colouring medium. I went with the two-step stamping option which is such a quick way to add colour to images and a great option if you are looking at creating multiples of cards.
The flowers were stamped directly onto the die-cut circle and then I stamped in the Fresh Freesia flowers. I offset this circle with another circle die cut using the Spotlight in Nature dies for an added detail. Then I lined up my truck with the flowers.
I created a little feature using some strips of Cardstock and Paper in varying widths. The narrow strip was cut from Fresh Freesia Cardstock and to give it a darker tone, I coloured it with the Dark Fresh Freesia Stampin’ Blend. On the card base I added Basic White Cardstock and I coloured the border with the Dark Fresh Freesia Stampin’ Blend before adding my embossed panel.
Petunia Pop ribbon was given the same colouring treatment. I love that we have these options to make our projects coordinate beautifully. The Linen Thread and ribbon were tied together to form the bow.

Welcome to another week at the CASEing the Catty Challenge. We are CASEing a bundle from pages 39-50 of the Stampin’ Up! September-December Mini Catalogue for CTC489.
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO CASE?
To CASE is to Copy and Selectively Edit and when you CASE you can be copy the project directly or be inspired by elements of it to make it your own.
I’m CASEing this card from Page 47 which uses the Sweetest Star bundle. I loved the simple layout of this card with the ribbon forming 2 strips for the focal element to lay on.
I have created a similar look by adding a strip of Country Lace Designer Series Paper and layering ribbon on top of it.
I chose the cute house from the Humble Home bundle as my focal image and coloured it with Stampin’ Blends. As I placed it over my vertical strip I felt the image got a bit lost so I layered it on top of a punched Heartfelt Hexagon. This created a fuller focal point against the rest of my card.
On the matte layer of Summer Splash Cardstock, I heat embossed the snowflakes from the Frozen Edges stamp set and then blended Summer Splash ink over it for a contrast against the card base. Some Melon Mambo candy canes add a touch of brightness along with the glimmer star which I coloured over with the Melon Mambo Stampin’ Blend. A few Tinsel Gems sprinkled over the snowflakes complete this card.

Hi friends, The card I’ve got for you today features the Frosted Forest bundle. This bundle includes a stamp set, dies and coordinating masks which make colouring really easy. I surprised myself by using Colour Palette #59 for this card.
I don’t think I ever thought Berry Burst would work for leaves on trees but paired with Pecan Pie and Soft Sea Foam, it creates such a beautiful colouring on the leaves. The Masks in this bundle make colouring these images very quick.
The tree trunk was blended with Pecan Pie and Petal Pink creating a beautiful shaded effeect.
I started with the Country Lace Designer Series Paper on the base of my card, layering it with a strip of Pecan Pie from the 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper collection. These versatile papers, available in all of our Classic and In-Colors, are an essential in my craft room.
I love how the striped pattern on this sheet provides a striking contrast to the delicate lace design, adding a touch of boldness to the card while keeping the overall look soft and elegant.
The birds were coloured in Watercolour Pencils using a Blender Pen. I felt these were somewhat of an embellishment and didn’t add any bling on this card. A large satin bow creates a statement and completes this elegant card.
