How cute is this child holding his Christmas present? I have really enjoyed colouring in the images in the Happiness and Cheer stamp set. On this card I’ve used the colour combination of Cherry Cobbler, Pool Party and Shaded Spruce.

There’s something about colouring that is very relaxing and working with Stampin’ Blends requires minimal effort. This image is very quick to colour.

Stampin’ Blends are a no fail way to add shading, depth and dimension to your colouring. It’s great for even a beginner as the colours are named and come in 2 shades – light and dark – so there is no confusion as to what colour or shade you need to use. Blending works so well and the Colour Lifter allows you to add extra highlights for more effect.

I’ve added several layers of circles and I think the doily from the Detailed Baubles die set is so great that I am tempted to use it on everything. Love my doilies. I chose the Tufted embossing folder as it was like a quilt and the boy was in his pj’s so it was just the right look for bed time.

Some sprigs punched from glimmer paper added a bit of sparkle for the Christmas season.

If you haven’t got yourself some Stampin’ Blends, give them a try. They come in individual light and dark shades or combination packs. Give a couple of colours a try and remember to use the Tuxedo black Memento ink pad to stamp your image.

Happy colouring.
