Today’s card is about celebrating the new year as well as what we achieved and overcame in 2018. There are so many things to be thankful for and celebrate in life.
Basic
These ready made foil edged card bases make it so easy to create cards without a fuss. They also come in gold edging. To create the background, simply stamp your different images. Don’t worry if the image goes on the silver edge as this can be cleaned up with a baby wipe.
Stamp the sentiment on Lovely Lipstick cardstock and punch out. Attach with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add glimmer dots to finish the card.
Intermediate
Stamp the sentiment on white cardstock and layer onto a tag punched from Lovely Lipstick cardstock which has been cut in half to fit behind sentiment.
Cut a panel of Broadway Bound DSP and layer onto Gray Granite cardstock. On the reverse of the cardstock add 2 small strips of double sided tape. Attach your ribbon onto this then adhere the entire panel onto card base. Attach sentiment.
Advanced
Heat emboss the images on card base and sentiment in Silver Embossing Powder. Layer as per instructions for Intermediate card. Stamp decorative strip on sentiment in Gorgeous Grape. In pencil, lightly mark the spots for punching the holes, then punch using the Detailed Trio punch. Weave ribbon through the holes and attach to card.
