Each week I share with you a colour palette inspiration. The accompanying photo can be a source of inspiration too and I really wanted to go with the beach theme on this photo but I thought I’d change it up. I surprised myself with my choice and loved the the outcome using Colouur Palette #11.
I used Coastal Cabana and Azure Afternoon to blend a check background through a mask. This check background is fun and cheerful for the bright red cherries to be mounted on.
The leaves were inked up in Lemon Lime Twist and then I added some Garden Green using a Sponge Dauber. This created the two-tone effect.
An Azure Afternoon sentiment stamped directly on the background contrasts well and a Black matte rreally makes the front panel pop.
