Colour Challenge with Everyday Details Bundle

My colour palette was chosen from the Stampin’ Up! #creativechallengesu This or That colour choices. I went with ‘That’. I’m also working with, for the first time, a sketch from Sketch n Scrap #260.
I used the Everyday Details bundle and coloured the cup image with all 4 colours. If you haven’t got this bundle, you may like to consider adding this to an order as it has pretty images and some versatile dies. Ordering it by 29th February is automatically going to qualify you for a Sale-A-Bration reward .
After colouring in the cup I then fussy cut it before mounting it onto a die cut rectangle which was blended with Tahitian Tide ink through a mask. The tone on tone layers were contrasted by adding an embossed Fresh Freesia panel against the vellum.
I added white cardstock behind the Vellum and while still providing the softness in the background, it provided the distinction against the Tahitian Tide layer for contrast.
A cute little birthday tag was added from the Tailor Made Tags dies. These dies come in a range of sizes and with the detailed border creates a lovely addition to a project.
