Today my card has been inspired by Colour Palette #13. I wondered what I had got myself into when I started to create with these colours as 3 of them were blue/purple tones. Some Natural Tone Stampin’ Blends really bring this card together and I love how it turned out.
For the focal point I used the Nested Essentials dies which leant itself to creating a slimline card. The flower from the Irresistible Blooms bundle was stamped on Basic White and coloured in with Calypso Coral and Natural Tones Stampin’ Blends. I die cut 3 flowers from Calypso Coral Cardstock and layered all the flowers together.
The leaves were die cut from Basic White Cardstock and coloured with a range of Natural Tones Stampin’ Blends.
To incorporate the Highland Heather I used the Foursquare Mask to create a background on the Nested Essentials Dies. Some additional leaves were stamped in Starry Sky and added to my floral arrangement.
The matte layer of Orchid Oasis Cardstock was run through the embossing folder twice which enabled me to mboss the entire length. This added a lovely texture to a plain background.
