Happy 2nd Birthday to The Stamping Lounge
The Stamping Lounge celebrated our 2nd birthday last week and on Sunday we held a Live event with a crafting challenge called Ready, Steady, Craft. There were wheel spins and a selection of colour palettes and random elements were then allocated by our members to each of us. Our members rubbed their hands in glee as they held the power!
What is The Stamping Lounge?
We are a crafty community filled with creative inspiration where you can build your skills, have fun creating, learn techniques, get more out of your stash, make friends and lots more. Our creative team of Kayla MacAulay, Maheswari Rajaguru and myself enjoy sharing creativity, ideas and inspiration through our classes and events.
Our Ready, Steady, Craft session was so much fun because each of us were pushed a little bit out of our comfort zones. I was given Brights for colours, Designer Series Paper and Embossing Folders. I use patterned paper and Embossing Folders on nearly every project so I was pretty happy with that.
Each of us also followed a sketch from The Sketch Box with my card following Sketch 28. Each of these sketches included measurements in metric and imperial.
