Although a bit behind with my #30DayChristmasCardmakingCballenge posts, I’ve been steadily working behind the scenes on my cards. I’m enjoying the creative process of selecting whatever stamps that work with the theme and getting lots of enjoyment from showing love to my old stamp sets that have been sitting on the shelf collecting dust.
For the theme of ‘From Santa’ I used the Signs of Santa stamp set yet again. I really think I have used this stamp set more times since it’s retired than when it was current! It does justify me holding onto it!
I bleneded Pool Party ink on some Basic White Cardstock and used it as a matte panel and also used it to stamp my Santa image which was then coloured with Stampin’ Blends. I added a strip of paper from the Merry, Bold & Bright 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper pack for a pop of colour against the pale blue.
The sentiment is from another retired stamp set – Perfectly Plaid, which I stamped and cut apart for a fun look.
