Monochromatic Wild Wheat – Filled with Happiness
The Crafty Collaborations team are running an Insta Hop each week featuring one of the Stampin’ Up! colours. This is the 2nd week of the challenge and I thought it would be fun to get involved. Today’s colour is Wild Wheat.
Now I don’t know about you but I love Wild Wheat. I think it has a beautiful gold look to it and can actually be substituted for gold if you didn’t want to go through the heat embossing process.
I’ve used one of our new stamp sets, Filled with Happiness and set it out on a range of Designer Series Papers. I added the Black for contrast.
I stamped the oval image twice, fussy cutting around the ‘Just a Note’. This was adhered to the Wild Wheat image. Then I added 2 thin strips of Black Cardstock either side of it. This added some depth to the sentiment. I punched out a second label from Basic Black Cardstock and cut it in half vertically, adhering it to the back of the sentiment to create a matte.
This sketch is great for using any of your Designer Series Papers and little offcuts you probably have in your stash.
