When it’s your birthday month and you want to celebrate it everyday, you create a Sketchtember Challenge! As part of my month long birthday celebrations, you’re invited to join me each day in Sketchtember. I love creating with a card sketch and so each day of September I will have a new card sketch for you to play along with.

Using the sketch as a guide, create a card (or scrapbook page) and share it using #sketchtemberchallenge #stampingflair and I will get to see what you have made. I love to see the variety that is created using the same layout.

Here is the sketch for Day 1. I hope you have lots of fun creating with it.

I’ve used Stampin’ Up! Watercolour Pencils to colour in this image from the Shaded Summer stamp set. The Coordinating dies and the beautiful Splendid Day Specialty DSP are on sale for ONE WEEK ONLY.

The die cut flowers add some lovely detail against the coloured image. Of course the sentiment had to be Happy Birthday to kick off Sketchtember.
