Stamp ‘n Hop – Anything Goes
Welcome to Stamping Flair in Melbourne and to our ‘Anything Goes’ Blog Hop. When there is no specific theme, it can be quite difficult to come up with something. So I’m sharing a card which I was commissioned to make for a friend’s daughter’s wedding. I generally ask someone what sort of card they would like and in what colour scheme. I was told ‘Oh, she’ll like anything’. Hence, this card is here for ‘anything’ goes.

I created a slim line card which is 20cm x 20cm folded in half. This fits perfectly in a DL business envelope. Although I did use Copper Embossing Powder on this card to tie in with the foil, you could substitute it for gold and it would work as well.

I ran the cardstock through twice with the Ornate Floral Embossing Folder so I could get full coverage of the longer cardstock. Some die cut flowers and leaves add a nice finishing touch to the lacy heart. The dies come with 2 each of the flowers which make cutting multiples much faster. The heart die cut from the Love You Always Specialty DSP makes this card extra special to share for a wedding.

Next on our hop is Melinda Whittington. I hope you check out everyone’s projects and I can’t wait to see what inspiration all our talented ladies have for us.
