Under the sea … I keep singing The Little Mermaid song … is our theme for the Just Add Ink challenge this week.

With not many sea products to play with I created an under the sea background using Blending Brushes and ink. I added several layers of stamped images including some fish heat embossed in Daffoldil Delight.

HEAT EMBOSS IN ANY COLOUR

• Ink up stamp in Versamark
• Immediately ink up in selected colour
• Stamp image
• Heat emboss in Clear Embossing Powder’
• Clean stamp inbetween each application

The tree rings were embossed with the Stripes and Splatter embossing folder to resemble sea life in the depths of the ocean.

I stamped the turtle in Calypso coral and coloured in with Granny Apple Green, Old Olive and Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends. The sentiment from the Party Puffins stamp set has been heat embossed in white and then I curved it to form a ‘wave’.

I love this little sceene and I can picture Ariel swimming right alongside this turtle!
