As you can see I am in love with the Very Vintage Hostess set. That doily stamp! I just can’t get enough of it.

In today’s project I once again used the beautiful floral image except this time I watercoloured it using ink refills and blender pens.  I love using my blender pens as they give great control over my colouring in and they are great value. You get 3 in a pack and they last for ages.

To further add to the vintage feel of this card, I distressed the edges of the Very Vanilla panel with Powder Pink.

I wanted some lacy embellishments to add to this card to give it a vintage look. So my first addition was a pearlized doily which I coloured on the matte side using a sponge dauber with Highland Heather. Then I did the same with the Delightfully Detailed Specialty Laser Cut DSP. It’s so good to be able to colour match using ink pads and daubers in this way. I know I have doilies in every colour to match any project I create because of this. Super quick and easy.

Stampin’ Up, SU, Stamping Flair, Rochelle Laird-Smith, Very Vintage, Water colouring

This entire panel has been attached to a Very Vanilla panel which I embossed with the new Tufted Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing folder. This embossing folder caught my eye as soon as I got my catalogue. It gives a really deep impression and is beautiful.

Now get your sponge daubers and inks on those white accessories and see what ‘new’ stuff you can add to your collection!
