Sending Hugs - Butterfly Flight Hot Foil Card

The Hot Foil System has been getting a little bit of a workout this week in my craft room. I’ve even had some fun playing with new products and foil colours that will be launching on 1st September. For this card which I shared on a Live video last week, I used the Butterfly Flight bundle which includes a stamp set, masks, dies (both cutting out and hot foil).

As this was a little bit of experimentation for me, I first hot foiled the butterflies in Gold and then played with the colours. The masks (or stencils) make it so easy to add colour to the butterflies. Numbered 1-4, you just place each mask down and add the colours for the layers.

Can I say, Hydrangea Hue and Golden Glow – oh my goodness – they are just gorgeous together!

Having worked out the colours then I picked out my coordinating Designer Series Papers – of which there are a few on this card. I’ve used the Beautiful Gallery woodgrain DSP to cut out the leaves from and hot foil the sentiment on.

On the background floral DSP I added some dots using the Golden Glow Stampin’ Blend to bring in the colours from the butterflies.
