Hello and welcome to the Around the World on Wednesday Blog Hop where we are layering up this month. In Melbourne, it’s getting to that time of the year where we are slowly adding layers to our clothing. I’m hanging onto our fine weather with my project!
We are a group of crafters who love Stampin’ Up! and we hop every 2nd Wednesday of the month sharing inspiration from all parts of the world so sit back and enjoy your all the beautiful projects you will be treated to.

For my card I used the Quiet Meadow Bundle which is currently on sale. Usually $92.50, for the entire month of March you can get this for $82.25. We have 13 bundles on sale at 20% off and our Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine is reduced by 20% too. If you order $90 of product by 16th March, you will also qualify for a Sale-A-Bration freebie.

The initial idea for my project was a tag so I started off by die cutting 2 tags which were the same size from So Saffron and New Horizons Designer Series Paper. The So Saffron tag was distressed using the edge of my Paper Snips. Then I scrunched it up completely into a ball and unfolded it. Using a sponge dauber I added Cinnamon Cider ink along the crease lines and the edges of both tags.

The flowers were die cut from Basic White cardstock and coloured with Stampin’ Blends. I combined Just Jade and Granny Apple Green for my stems to layer colours. The tag on top was curved with a bone folder for a more aged look with Stampin’ Dimensionals layered 3-up in the centre to hold it’s shape.
That fence from the On the Horizon Dies is just my style and I love what it adds to this scene.

I stamped the wording image in Pear Pizzazz on the White ribbon which subtly blends the ribbon to the card. This ribbon has been layered onto the Silver Mesh ribbon which I coloured with the Misty Moonlight Stampin’ Blend for a coordinated look.
With a fully-loaded tag I kept my card base to clean white with the background embossed with the Brick & Mortar Embossing Folder.

Thank you for visiting me in Melbourne today and I hope you enjoy your trip around the world. Next on our hop is the amazingly creative Cheryll Miller.

The stamped tape stunt is awesome! I can’t wait to try!
Be still my heart! Absolutely this amazing scene you created with so many layers and texture! Scrunching up the DSP was the perfect way of adding dimension and using that sentiment on the ribbon… love it! As always thanks for the inspiration and for hopping with us! xx
