Hi, Welcome to my blog, Stamping Flair for the ESAD Blog Hop. I’m based in Blind Bight on the Morning Peninsula in Melbourne. Whether you are a regular to my blog or a first timer, I am so glad you are here. I hope you find lots of inspiration.
Today, our talented demonstrators from the ESAD group will be sharing lots of projects incorporating products from our new Mini Catalogue and Sale-A-Bration Catalogue.
Sale-A-Bration is an amazing sale where you can get free craft goodies. For every $90 you spend in store qualifies for a free Sale-A-Bration product. Sale-A-Bration has been extended and will run until 16th March.
I combined the Let’s Set Sail bundle with the scenic New Horizons Designer Series Paper to create this nautical-themed card (albeit a night-sail). This was a ‘must have’ bundle for me as I have many people in my life who are keen with their water sport and beach activities.
Using 2 circle dies, the frame was die cut 4 times, with one embossed with the Timber Embossing Folder. These were glued together for added depth.
I heat embossed the sails in White and then coloured them with Balmy Blue and Night of Navy Stampin’ Blends. This was layered on a circle which I added some Cherry Cobbler Cardstock strips in varying widths to create a marine look. The yacht was punch out 3 times in white and the extra black layer was glued at the back to create a shadow.
Some ‘waves’ were die cut from the Horizon dies for added texture on this card. Punches are great for creating quick cards and Sail Boat Builder punch is one you will want to add to your collection.
Thank you for stopping by today. I’d love to hear from you so please leave me a comment. Products used are listed at the bottom of this post. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me on Ph: 0404 255 001 or email: rochelle@stampingflair.com
