Lovely & Beautiful Card Creations Series – Simply the Best
The final card in my Lovely & Beautiful Card Creations Series is all about dimension, softness, and those beautiful finishing touches that truly elevate a handmade card.
For this project, I’ve used the dies from the suite to create a stunning layered 3D flower. This is one of those elements that looks intricate and detailed, but is actually quite simple to put together—and it adds such a wow factor to your card. I love how the layers naturally create depth, but adding colour really brings it to life.
For the foliage, I used a combination of ink blending and Stampin’ Blends. Combining different colouring techniques provides varied textures and points of interest in the card. Even though this card has a beautiful dimensional element, it’s actually quite quick to create. Perfect for when you want something elegant without spending hours at your craft table.
